World of WarCraft: The Magazine Arrives in Mailboxes
|

After much delay, the World of WarCraft magazine is finally reaching mailboxes. Inside are a few interesting bits about Cataclysm, an interview with Mike Morhaime, features on Icecrown Citadel, Onyxia, Companion Pets, the 5th Anniversary, and more, as well as articles about tanking, healing, a full strategy guide for the Crusader's Coliseum (both 5 and 10/25 man versions), and even some PvP tips for Isle of Conquest and Arathi Basin.
I've only had a chance to thumb through it myself, but overall it's very nice. So if you've already subscribed, keep an eye on your mailboxes. Otherwise, it's never too late ;)
Update: I've written up a summary of the new info in the Cataclysm preview right here.

To commemorate WoW's 5th anniversary, and WarCraft's 15th anniversary, Blizzard has put up a new minisite. So far, they have a few video interviews with various people from Blizzard, as well as a Battlecry contest of sorts where you can submit a picture of yourself holding an Alliance or Horde symbol. More to be released later this week, including a new Blizzcast and some additional interviews.

Next week begins Pilgrim's Bounty, the new Thanksgiving-themed holiday in World of WarCraft. Blizzard has put up a page previewing it here. Of interesting note is the buff that provides +10% rep gain for an hour! Those after the Insane title may want to take note ;)

Blizzard has put up an Abyssal Maw page with a few screens and some lore. Not much in the way of actual new information, though there is an interesting bit about his weapon having control over the seas of Azeroth. Overall, an interesting read.
