Well it seems some Italian gaming magazine fucked up and posted next month's cover WITH the title "The Burning Crusade" listed for the expansion. A bunch of people caught this and the image has since been edited so the title doesn't show (which is perhaps proof enough that it's real).

Topic I saw this in:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?FN=wow-general&T=5333569&P=1

Cached copy of magazine website:

The magazine cover also had the tagline "Blizzard takes us to the 70th level" which is nice :) Though I wonder if that may be like 60 levels + 10 hero levels (which would work great in fitting with WarCraft 3's 10 levels).

P.S. - Blizzard trademarked the Burning Crusade a few months back which also lends some validity to this.

Does this mean we can five man UBRS and Ten man Zul'Gurub?

maybe :)

Though I suspect the last 10 levels will not simply be leveling up. I think they will involve hard Hero level quest things you need to do.

Didn't Blizzard promise Hero Classes would be in the original product....oh...I smell a forum fire.....

They also promised you could purchase boats and I believe they promised battlegrounds and all kinds of other shit before release :)

I still want to purchase boats though. Hell, I just want to SEE boats other than the same fucking boat model they use everywhere. Night Elves should have Night Elf boats. Orcs should have Orc Boats, etc. There isn't a single military boat to be found other than the broken Elven Destroyers which are EVERYWHERE. Shipyards? What are those? Oil Platforms? You must be mad! I think I've seen a grand total of two refineries (Sludge Fen, Venture Co. outpost in STV)... So yeah, more boats please!

I feel like being captain obvious today, so I will point out that the Burning Crusade is the name Blizz has given to the Burning Legion's jolly interplanetary jaunt of havoc and mayhem.

Once Sargeras saw that his armies were amassed and ready to follow his every command, he launched his raging forces into the vastness of the Great Dark. He referred to his growing army as the Burning Legion. To this date, it is still unclear how many worlds they consumed and burned on their unholy Burning Crusade across the universe.

So, yeah- the name could very well be real. And since it was removed from the mag's cover, that just lends credence to it.

Great lowbies will now fear the unrelenting attacks of Bosses that charge at the Main Cities once a month.
