You've probably seen these already, but IGN has done a nice preview with a few shots of each figure from series 1 and 2 (series 1 coming this October). Check it out here.

God, I hope that human warrior comes with the dreadnought helm. So all these figures are going to be characters appearing in the comic?

It would follow. DC owns both DC Unlimited and Wildstorm, and we've confirmed at least three characters (Broll, Rehgar, and Valeera) will be appearing in the comic, though I've seen articles stating more as well, they were unsubstantiated.
However since they're making an Illidan figure we can gather that they're not limiting themselves only to characters appearing in the comic, and it is a bit odd that they wouldn't make a figure of the comic's protagonist if that was the angle they were shooting for. The general strategy seems to be a two-pronged media campaign. Fans of the comic will be encouraged to buy the figures of their favourite characters, and collectors of the toys might want to read the comics to get to know their favourite figures better.
While this is all very nice and clever, it is fairly inexcusable that we can get action figures of support characters from the comics but not world-changing characters who have spanned the whole franchise.
I should add, too, that so far we've seen limited art samples from the comic but what we have seen shows VERY different depictions of Valeera and Broll. I think different design teams might be working on them.
