I haven't heard any updates on this, however (mopstly because I've been sleeping), so I don't know if he's really gone or what. :/

Well the posts seem very odd and I haven't seen him for some time. First thought he was on a vacation. But after this post I think that he no longer works for Blizzard. His posts look an awful lot like the last posts from Katricia during beta.

I think he just found a better job, that's all. Even with all the griping on the Paladin forums, he was probably the best of the Admins to deal with us. The amount of complaining we threw at him must have been worse than hell, but he took it all and threw us back a curve ball (rolling his own Paladin and helping find out some of the new skills we had back in 1.7.)

Considering that Forum Admins aren't the best paid individuals, he probably just upgraded to a better job. Either that or he had to move, which basically removes the job as an option (you have to be in/around Irvine in order to hold a job at Blizz.)

The non-combat pet cat vendor is named after a CM, Katricia, who got fired back in beta.
Fangtooth was a CM, not a GM. Those are completely different jobs.

I'd personally give Fang his own mini-boss somewhere in BFD, or on the shores of Quel'thalas (when the X-pack comes out.) But that's me...
