Maybe a rather odd question, but anyone here who owns the action figure of Medivh?
I need several pictures as cosplay-references (Don't want to use the robe from black morass) and google isn't helpful.

Is all I have. I wouldn't recommend necessarily basing too much off the action figure tho, the toycom ones were pretty shitty.

Wowwiki should have a lot of pictures too. IIRC, there was also one in the original WarCraft Art Book (the one with the War 3 CE)

But people mess around in-character for kicks in events and shit, it´s not the same as say, people doing real life campaigns with Dragon puppets.

I had a friend down here who was into cosplay, etc., and one day when she was talking about something random she mentioned that....evil, evil creation. Within 2 seconds of linking what exactly Yaoi was (I don't even want to know how a paddle works in there) we were no longer friends and I'd started trying to huff enough paint to destroy the image ingrained in my head.

The paddle actually is just a regular wooden or plastic paddle with the word -yaoi- written on it... I speak Portuguese, English (I write and read it fluently but I have more trouble with talking, mainly because I'm not as used to talking in English as I am with reading it, even though I can listen to nearly anything in English and understand it fine) Spanish (pero escribirlo es más dificil!) and I once was able to speak some French while I studied it, but I seem to have lost that ability now ( I can read it somewhat, though).

Aside from that, I now some simple words in Korean (I practice Taekwondo, so I have to know the names of the various techniques and forms) and can understand some very basic words and sentences in Japanese (Ohaio, watashi wa Wulf desu!) but I'd love to learn to speak it fluently - then I could watch unsubtitled anime and read manga raws:D

Officialy, it's still english, because an average American can understand an average British and vice versa. Well, it's no longer RP, but that's the same language as long as there are no communication barrier.

Probably you're right, but the fact is the present day official english (RP, to those who thought I'm talking about roleplaying, means Received Pronuncation) is considered a real english, not the american english, no matter which one is closer to the original, historical english.
Still, english do not change as much as another languages throughout centuries. In my country language from 1910s or 1920s could be somewhat understood, but language from 1880s could be barely recognized as the same one, while english from 19th century and today is almost identical.

It's also why the English language is pretty illogical at times. The grammar and syntax evolved while the words themselves didn't. There are so many exceptions, off-shoot words, and random foreign languages inserted into it that unless you're anal-retentive about proper spelling, punctuation, etc. you'll probably get something wrong in even a basic paragraph.

And that doesn't even include the different written dialectical rules between professions. Writing an English essay means using one set of rules while writing a newspaper article or position paper in the sciences is entirely different. About the only way to really get a sense of English is to constantly read books/newspapers until you just have a feeling for it.

It really is, especially dead ones. I've always wanted to learn Latin, Japanese, Mandarin/Cantonese, the meso-america dialects, Incan, Mayan, and probably Aramaic for the hell of it. I doubt I'll ever get a chance, or at least not until I hit 60 and retire, but who knows.

Hardly anyone in Scotland speaks Gaelic. It's pretty much a dying language, although there have been a few schemes set up to try and introduce it, but none of them have really worked.

Maybe you could give me a hand, then. I'm currently working on a few constructed languages for my fantasy world, the first is a Northern Italian Latin Vulgate inspired language with four genders (male, female, netuer and robotic).
