So they canned Kerrigan´s original voice actress.

Oh well, considering that her voice was pure *** let´s just say i´m disappointed.

They must take a very good one if they really want me not to be disappointed.
A very good one.

Who wants to bet the replacement will have subpar acting and be horribly miscast?

Well I guess I can't blame Jeff Kaplin and Bornakk for this one now can I? Still sucks though!

Considering Raynor, I am going to trust them on this.
And yes, I like the new voice of Raynor, he actually sounds like a space cowboy now that remembers he is supposed to have an accent, which Robert totally forgot he was supposed to have after four missions.
I will miss Talken, she more then anyone was the most iconic voice to me. Raynor, Zeratul, Tassadar, all of them are forgettable to me when it came to the voices, but Kerrigan was always the one I remembered. I will trust them on this but I hope the new actress at least sounds a little like Talken.

Given how crappy Illidan, Arthas, and just about all the old characters' new voices sound. I doubt it will be good......

I love how we keep ripping on Arthas' new voice, which is kind of cliche, but we don't take into account that we heard all of one line out of him post fusion. "Now we are one," doesn't really give much of a starting point voice acting wise, so we can't gripe too much about it.
As to Kel's voice though...I will miss it. So classy, so cool, just the air of absolute confidence with only a hint of arrogance to it. It was probably my favorite voice out of the whole series, but times change so we probably have to get used to it.

The thing is though, WoW is designed mostly as an MMO with some boss talking thrown in randomly. Sometimes they get some good voices, some bad, but it is not something they probably go nuts over since the investment is so low. I bet a lot of the voices are just done by the developers themselves in order to save time and money. I would do the same thing if I was one of the developers.
StarCraft 2 is going to be a full on single player story and thus needs to have a bit more cinematic investment. The only voices I had really hoped would return were Kerrigan for StarCraft 2, and Deckard Cain for Diablo 3. It looks like Deckard is covered based on the previews (that can change), and now that Kerrigan is off the list I am definitly dissapointed. However, I will wait till I hear her new voice before I pass my judgement on it. For all I know, it might fit the Kerrigan persona more then even Talken (Which is how I feel about Raynor)
I do have to admit one thing though, a lot of the persona we add to people is because of the voices. Robert and his presentation of Raynor didn't make him seem like a Marshall out in the universal boonies anymore then it made him sound like a wise cracking bartender that got stuck with the job for a day. I liked Raynor for his "good boy" charms, but I think he fits much more how they tried to present him in the past now then he did under Robert. Does he seem like a different character? Yes, but whether that is a good or bad thing depends on how much you liked the old presentation.

I don't fully agree. I liked the way Raynor and Kerrigan sounded personally. It's going to be HARD to replace them in my eyes. The new Raynor, however, does have promise though.

The new Raynoy is okay, I can live with him.
The new Zeratul is okay (the one from the fight with the Hydralisks). I see potential, even though he doesn't really sound that much like the original. And he's definitely not as good.
I'm really disappointed they recast Kerrigan, though... but... knowing that Andrea Romano is voice-directing... I have HIGH hopes.

Starcraft wont be the same without Robert for Raynor, Raynor was my personal favorite of the Terrans and Kerrigan had excellent voice but after so long things change weather you like it or not.
