Microsoft + Blizzard = ???

TLDR:

Blizzard seems to be in talks with Microsoft's next Xbox (i think its gonna be called Xbox 720 or something else corny). Now can you guys start imagening the next generation consoles finally bringing our beloved Starcraft, Warcraft and even Diablo games to the Console? I'm not just talking ports out of a PC Game, i'm talking about console exclusives like Starcraft: Ghost, perhaps a Warcraft RPG game (c'mon, everyone here has a wet dream about Warcraft + Final Fantasy combonation game) and whatnot! :D

Playing an RTS on a game console is such a stupid concept it makes my head hurt. The only stupider idea is to have an FPS on a console. Now THAT would be idiotic.

Because? Halo Wars and Red Alert 3 have made console RTS into a better light, ofcourse you got PC thats the lead, but you know not everyone keeps their computer up to date, and some really do just prefer console gaming. :p

I enjoy plenty of FPS/Over-the-shoulder games on my console thank you very much. Gears of War 2 and Resident Evil 5 are prime examples of a over-the-shoulder games that work on a console.

What makes you think that? Activion Blizzard merge was to help Blizzard make more console games, and this Microsoft thing might help for Xbox exclusives and whatnot cool games to play on Xbox live. =p Theres noone saying "Hey guys, now Blizzard is making mass releases of games to consoles". >_>

If Blizzard is interested in Xbox, that would probably mean that Ghost hasn't been totally abandoned and their "delayed indefinitely" would be true.

Starcraft RTS would never translate well into a console game, the gameplay is too fast and precise for that. Halo Wars and Command and Conquer are completely different game as weird as that sounds.

If they´re going to make console games just make them ala Starcraft Ghost.

Yeah this is the prime thing i'm excepting. And console games based on Warcraft and Diablo too would be nice. :p Imagen playing a Diablo game with the Barbarian in a God of War alike game, would be an awesome thing tbh!

Nah, I think its Ghost. Most things and events recently points to it.

I think they are developing the Starcraft universe as much as possible for a Starcraft MMO.
