What is a dupe ... i have just a slight idea of what it is.Duping is short for duplicating, which is an process (usually a bug and illegal in MMOs) by which you can take an existing item, and make an exact copy or copies of the item.

Kaz is right again. Its people that cheat that ruin the game for everyone. I think I have an idea how they do it but I will never attempt to do so myself. They have 2 accounts runing on the same PC. They then xfer the items to one of their other characters and then break connection mid xfer. This makes both character go link dead and as soon as they login back in they still have the items in their inventory and the xfer still compeletes to the 2nd character which, in turn, makes a copy of the items that were being traded. Its something along those lines, thats why they said it takes 2 mins. 2 Mins is the standard time of connection inactivity that will show the character as being disconnected. This differs from going afk, it tried to establish an internet connection. When it fails you get the classic Gray avatar with the red lightning bolt.

this guy on my server said he duped Arcanite/Elementium Bars for the Thunderfury qwest, which could explaine how he got it so fast, but all together this is gay and its a shame people ruin games like this
