While it's possible, I seriously doubt they will add a player race that can choose which faction to join. Though I doubt they will continually add a new race with each expansion... I mean, use FFXI and it's jobs as an example... they will have a total of 6 jobs over 3 expansion after the next expansion is released (sometime this month), but only added 3 jobs in the first expansion and will add 3 more in the third, the second expansion added no new jobs (New races are unlikely due to the lore of the game... just elaborating).
The key is finding races that fit the lore...

WoW is so lore-rich that anything could happen, and there's always new possibilities. They could open a new portal to another world and bam there's a whole mass of new races to ally with. They could introduce Northrend and introduce a new race we ahve never heard of (and yes I have LoM but that jsut means that all there is now).

new classes should be Runemaster and Necromancer (think warlock with weaker multiple pets with a time duration)

I think it would be neat to had a 3rd faction. Maybe even a 4th faction. Imagine if the BE and the Forsaken split from the horde, since they dont really belong there anyway, and made a new faction. That would make a lot more sence. It only makes sence, the leader of the forsaken was once an elf anyway. A possible 4th faction would be that of, either the burning legion or the scourge. Imigiane getting to play a low level doomguard or a dreadlord. Hell, take it a step futher and allow a faction in the outland. I wouldnt mind playing a naga with a starting point in the outland! There are endless possibilities.

ore factions will never happen. they've stated that. too game-breaking. everything has been coded for 2 sides, not 3 or 4. plus this is the Alliance vs the Horde, which is the central core of the WC universe. it wont change.
