These both characters were made by Richard Knaak. They are almost same when it comes to being Mary-Sues.But why do people call rhonin and his story lame while broxigar is named as a badass at every place he is mentioned?Double standarts?

Well Broxigar, for one, actually died before he did too much. And he also had apparent flaws like age, regret, simple-mindedness and the fact that he couldn't cast magic spells that just happened to solve everything, instead he had to cut through the problems with an axe.
But sure, he might not deserve as much praise as he is given.
That said, guess which Orc is my current Wallpaper?

I can't say I've ever heard of Brox being a mary sue, he barely said a damned thing during the books.
People say he's a badass because he is, he held the line against waves of demons in the battle for Hyjal. If that's not good enough, he jumped into the Twisting Nether and just went to town with thousands of demons and got a hit on Sargeras himself.
Bad. Ass.
EDIT: He also doesn't use raptor armies to solve his problems.
Broxigar was a generic Orc who had an awesome death. Not to mention he did get beaten up and even caged for a moment. He had flaws but with Cenarius' axe he showed some badassery.
Rhonin was cool in Day of the Dragon, but then he started to appear almost anywhere along with Krasus and saving the day all the time.

Well... badass, sure. But just some Orc causing Sargeras to reel in pain from an axe hit, magically enchanted or not, is just a bit too silly for me. I liked his other parts, even though he was overshadowed by Rhonin and Krasus all the way :sweatdrop

But Krasus kept asking for his help. :D

Yes.I mean it is said that even getting close to Sargeras will turn you to ash.But this 'generic orc' gets close, kills tons of enemies alone and hits Sargeras.

The hit never caused him to reel in pain, it was as Kologarn would say "JUST A SCRATCH!". But it was enough for the defenders to focus their magic on to to push Sargeras back and close the portal.
Because thinking about, what equates to the size of a scratch on Sargeras is likely the size of a massive gaping wound on a normal person.

I'd rather say it's the equivalent of cutting through a normal person's entire body, from the top and down, and up again.

Reel in pain? Didn't he just react like "hmm, something pricked my knee", and then impaled Brox?

Sargeras went "Ow, what the fuck was that? YOU!? YOU CUT ME?! FUCK YOU!"

“Generic Orc” is more levied to his personality than to his ability. He had nothing really special about him, he was a characterture of what an orc is.
Also, I still contend that the Raptor Army was the coolest thing in Night of the Dragon and the only thing worth remembering.

Yeah, probably. Don't really remember much of it.

I'd rather not D:

I want to be able to summon a goddamn Raptor Army too. It was a fun spin on things; WoW meets Jurassic Park.

As others have said, Brox wasn't really a Mary Sue. He was limited by factors such as no magical apptitude, age, and regret. He also died in the same series he was introduced. Sure, he hit Sargeras, but it was a combination of his resolve, skill and his magical demigod axe.
Rhonin wasn't really, either, until post-Day of the Dragon. He was a fine, if generic, protagonist in that book. But, when WotA came along and he was the most powerful character in those books, and trained Illidan and the Moon Guard, and then showing up again in Night of the Dragon to save the day, he cemented himself as a Sue.
Even Krasus, who Knaak uses even more often than Rhonin, at least has an excuse for being so powerful. And, even then, he is often hindered. Not Rhonin, though.

It was more of Sargeras' thinking nothing could hurt him. He said that Archimonde and Mannoroth were fleas compared to himself and that one hundred dragons were nothing to him. Then an orc comes along and hits him. Instead of continuing with his trying to get into Azeroth, he starts getting mad/surprised that he has been slightly injured. Distracted by this wound, he loses focus.

What' the deal with this Raptor-Rhonin-Army, anyway? I tried, I really did try, to finish Night of the Dragon but never made it up to it's appearance.
I haven't either, but apparently raptors are intelligent or something

Just write a list of what each character did and you will surely find your answer there.
