Well, you're half right.

Both Horde and Alliance will have their own special type of mount, but there are also mounts that will be extremely rare even among the most powerful characters. The nether drake is one of these.

Thats not exactly true. Blizzard said Nether Dragons are only one of the harder ones to get, but that the factions will also get special flying mounts. They announced they will basically be "epic armored" Gryphons and Wyverns.

There probably won't be racial mounts - but there should be :) Most races already have a mount that suits them - the only exceptions being Humans, Tauren, and to a lesser extent Draenei - though they can just grab anything from Outland. So it would be neat if they did that like with normal mounts.

But I think it will just be Gryphons and Wyverns - though I wonder if at least Hippogryphs and Bats will also be options. I think that is actually a new development tho - I think the original plan was to have everyone get Nether Drakes and then they decided they wanted to save them as "epic" mounts. I guess this way they can offer the Gryphons and Wyverns cheap and people won't be cheated out of say, Tempest Keep which requires a flying mount to access.

Yeah, though Forsaken could even have Gargoyles. It kind of sucks for the races who have to share a mount too (Humans, Tauren). I figured Dwarves would get Gryphons because that is a staple, and Trolls would get Bats. Like I said, Forsaken could have Gargoyles. But Humans and Tauren are the only two without something particularly special. So I dunno.

That's not really true actually. If you catch one in the wild it is. But you can also catch their lesser forms and evolve them and then they get like Scratch or something. I'm not going to bother looking it up but there are probably stat differences between the two that might make one better. I sort of suspect Metapod naturally has more defense.

Slow level up maybe, but at high level... It is awesome. You can give it almost any Thunder/Fire/Ice attack, and then you add some high damage move, like Hyper Beam... I loved it <3

In a fight though, Weedle/Kakuna has the advantage. This is because Caterpie/Metapod are both Bug Types while Weedle and Kakuna are Bug/Poison types. Now any pokemon master knows that a poison type has the advantage against a bug type. So a few Poison Stings will destroy the weaker bug pokemon! :kawaii:

This is because Poison Sting is a poison attack and Kakuna is half poison thus increasing the damage by 1.5. Now poison attacks do double damage vs bug types like Metapod, so it's an easy victory, especially when it poisons Metapod.

I admit it, I'm still a big Pokemon fanboi. I downloaded a Pokemon Emerald rom some months ago and I'm still playing it on my computer...

And yes, I confused the attacks. Weedle and Caterpie learn Tackle/String Shot/Poison Sting and then Harden when they evolve.

Now, talking about really good pokemon... The best pokemon I've ever had is an Aggron. If you get one with the rock head ability, you can teach it double-edge (for those who don't know, it's one of the most powerful attacks, but it causes recoil damage) and give him a choice band and he can cut through almost any enemy without damaging yourself. It's a beast :p
