I was bored today (news for you), so i started to think, what are the best songs in video games troughout times? I started listing them in my head, first it was 10, but then i had to make it 15 to include all songs i wanted to put there. Now im done and heres the result of a hard work of two hours: 15 greatest Videogame Musics (in my opinon) in the Order of Greatness with reasons for their place on the list and a download link for most of them!

15. Sonic 3 - Final Boss
Reason: The Song is very good for creating an eerie feel to the fight it plays with. The Fight is also a fantastic one.

14. Metal Gear Solid - Main Theme
A really Great song, MGS1 is a great game as well.

13. Super Mario Bros - Theme of the first level
Reason: I personally think this song is quite over-valued, but i had to include it in the list to make the fanbois shut up. The Super Mario Sunshine version of it is good though.

12. Doom - Military Base
Reason: A good, fast song that is great for the level it is put in.

11. Nobuo Uematsu - Vamo' Alla Flamenco - Final Fantasy IX
Reason: This was actually the thing that allows anyone to get a Golden Chocobo in FFIX without having a brain tumor.

10. Sonic 2 - Metropolis Zone
Reason: Sonic 2 is my favourite game of all times. Metropolis is my favourite Single Level of all platform games. The Song is my 10th favourite Game Music ever, period.

9. Donkey Kong Country 2 - Rattle Battle
Reason: Donkey Kong Country 2 is a great game and has great musics, i chose this song in particular due to its lighthearted and speedy nature.

8. Doom 2 - The Demon's Dead
This is in a level which has a part that starts spawning monsters all around the level when you pick up the blue key card, i always loved the level and cant stop thinking about it when i head the music.

7. Metal Gear Solid - The Best is yet to come
A really, really, really, emotional song for the ending credits of MGS1.

6. Nobuo Uematsu - One Winged Angel - Final Fantasy VII
Reason: This is perfect for the situation, its a great piece of music and the Latin Lyrics just make it better.

5. Sonic 3 - Ice Cap Zone (act 1)
Reason: Since Sega Megadrive was my First Console, Sonics have always been some of my favourite Games. Ice Cap Zone music is one great example of their music.

4. Glenn Stafford - Warcraft 2 Theme - Warcraft 2
Reason: Each time i hear this song, i go back to my childhood of playing Warcraft. I also see the picture of a Troll attacking an Elf from the beginning menu of WC2. (ps, also known as "Orc War room", but it plays in the main menu so its the theme of the game for me)

Reason: A really Great song, not many know it though that the guy yells "We want war, stand up!" during the song. When i hear this, i always see the beginning Demo of RA1 in my minds eye.

2. Nobuo Uematsu - Dancing Mad - Final Fantasy VI
Reason: Kefka (the main baddie of FFVI) is the best Villain in the history of Gaming, his Theme and ultimately his battle music really reflect his personality.
