Being 'pure evil' is such a limited way of looking at a character. Not to say destructive behavior (including self-destructive) behavior doesn't exist....

I didn't say she was complex. But making her ambiguous didn't make her complex, it just made her wishy-washy (and thus a weaker character in my mind). And having goodness wouldn't make her complex....
