Dominion are "lawful evil" types, so more "world domination" than "baby kicking". They have this big oppressive empire that wants to conquer everyone. Two of their races seem to be very trigger happy...

Why? All "motif" left in hunters now is "ranged weapons" and "pets". Since one-handed guns are very much ranged weapons, I don't see why couldn't they use it.
