You know, after playing through ME1 again recently, I realized something:
Why didn't Vigil just let the Protheans out of stasis on Ilos when the power started to fail? Surely it would have been better to let some out and maintain the facility, instead of letting them all die and have it fail.
It's a bit of a dumb question, so I'm probably missing something. Were there not enough resources on Ilos to support them all? Were they worried so much activity would have attracted the Reapers?
