Default most retarded preview ever

http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2006/...Preview/1.html

Just read it. Then, we can make a list of retarded things they said. It is surprising that this preview was posted just a week or two ago... It has so much ... wrong stuff, that I got a headache... If I read this preview without knowing about any content from BC already, I'd probably commit suicide.

The biggest lie of them all:

"It all gets very complicated but needless to say Blizzard has provided enough lore to keep fans interested..."

"For those of you worried about WoW getting all sci-fi the Blizzard team is simply asking you to bear with them. In my hands-on test I have to say that the Draenei certainly didn’t feel like anything I have seen from sci-fi offerings. This may please those fantasy purists amongst you but like I have already said, I’m worried about the fact that you step off a space ship wielding a wooden axe – how can that add up?"

OHMIGOD.
That sucked.
When he wrote "finally the Horde sexy race!" Was I the only one that thought he is one of the NE female mailbox strippers?

But I have to say, it was some good pictures, and I didnt know this:
“The draenei nether-ship you've been hearing about is far more than it seems. Its part of a larger dimension-traveling fortress called Tempest Keep that essentially teleports through alternate realities.”
Sounds cool.

Ya, we knew for a long time that the Exodar was a part of Tempest Keep, which is a giant fortress that can warp to alternate dimensions. Its a Naaru stronghold and thats how the Naaru travel the universe.

You can even see "other" Exodar-type structures in the wallpaper for Tempest Keep posted awhile back.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/burni...tkeep-800x.jpg

Actually, the one on the left looks just like Exodar, a giant kind of dome/cone shaped structure with crystals sticking out of it.

Sorry to burst you bubble, but as long as i'm aware, the only "Alternate Dimension" is the Twisting Nether, which doesn't explain how it can move from World to World.

The Emerald Dream and the Elemental Plane are alternate dimensions too. And Tempest Keep goes from world to world through the Twisting Nether because the Nether works as a kind of shortcut between the miriad worlds of the cosmos.

They said the Draenei never feel like anything from sci-fi. I bet they never played Star Craft.

Then there is also the mysterious "Abyss" that the Spirit of Sargeras was cast to, and the Astral Plane where Medivh's Spirit wandered.

And perhaps the Great Dark Beyond, if you really can count it as a separate dimension from the material plane.

*Sigh* The Blood Elves didn't splinter off from the High Elves. The High Elves BECAME the Blood Elves (it's only a name difference anyway), and the only remaining High Elves are those that went to Theramore.

Dimensions are different then you think. In our reality there are 13 or so alternate dimensions that flow all at once side by side. The only difference is in perception or something.

Mostly, though unless they completely wipe it from the game in BC, the lodge in central Hinterlands is also manned by High Elves.

The lodge in Eastern Plaguelands is too, though I could almost imagine them completely redoing that if they decide to somehow make Quel'thalas accessible by foot from that zone (although that'd make it tricky to have it accessible only to those with the expansion, unless they had a cheesy "invisible wall" in the middle of the road.)

You are both right and wrong.

Most of the high elves became Blood elves but there was several High elves that were horrified by the Blood elves way and never joined Kael´thas, there is alot more High elves in Azeroth besides Theramore, you know.

that is correct, but Blood Elves are definately not "High Elf Outcasts", at least not in the way they meant it.

In other words: they are not Dark Elves in Warcraft.

There are also High Elves in Stormwind I'd like to add. Or at least there is a Mage trainer in the Mage's Quarter.
EDIT: By Mage's Quarter I meant Wizard's Tower thing.

Yah, at least! Stupid thing about the Forsaken is that the 'Banshee' Queen has only a few Banshees... one in her throne room (I think), Mage trainer and Tarren Mill word.
