There are hints pointing to another one about Cataclysm having happened some days ago.

As for mods: no point in deleting this thread, since some fansites already leaked.

Whatever, I'm not sure about this, so don't trust it yet. It could, in the end, be one of those huge fakes that everyone gets to believe, and then act as they were part of it >_<. But I don't believe so yet.

Stay alert for beta information, cause it's being prepared, and for a lot more of info regarding Cataclysm.

It might be a fake, but I do recall hearing some whisperings of a press event (held on the 8th, I think) recently, and now I've heard some whisperings about waiting until Sunday.

I hate whispers. Ever so much.

I'd heard more than whispers, which makes me believe it's something.

Between other things, they have supposedly shown all the new classes and their new skills, and elaborated on a good number of dungeons, including the new Caverns of Time wing and the final boss of the Grim Batol raid.

That's awesome. So what can we expect to see sunday then? The information they were shown or the NDA lifting and beta starting?

Well, there's no CoT wing in Alpha yet, not even in the files (although some spells clearly belong to it), so I guess there's more than just the NDA lift.

I really hope they go for the cool factor and avoid stupid stuff in the CoT wing. If they don't mess it up, it could turn to be the awesomest CoT ever, with the awesomest character in history.

I wouldn't expect the Beta anytime soon just yet or for the NDA to drop on everything.

Well, I wanted to write "awesomest characters", in plural, but yes, the same way it has those awesome characters we all love, it has some others, that were added later, that we despise with all our hearth.

Let's just hope they stick with the original story and avoid eventual lame retelling of it, shall we?

Perhaps a linear instance where you travel down a path and kill key figures from the War of the Ancients, and then maybe an infinite dragon? The trash mobs should include countless infinite drakonids called Retcons. I mean, isn't retconning the past what the infinite dragonflight is trying to do?

Imagine a dungeon that took place in the actual battleground. Just a big open space with demons on one side and Azerothians on the other. You don't run straight down one path, you just go to various points on the field where you're needed. Think like how an actual BG works, with people called out for backup when their positions start to get mobbed.

I'm happy while "marysue" isn't around... although dunno, in Ulduar trailer he was awesome... :S

I would prefer if, in case we're speaking of a WotA instance, which I have never implied, of course, , to be like my original idea from some months ago:

-Assault Azshara's palace: the final scenes of the 3rd book mixed with the assault of the Eternal Palace. I want to see Illidan killing Azzinoth, Cenarius taunting Mannoroth and Deathwing trying to get the Demon Soul while we fight with Varo'then, with Azshara screaming like a bitch from her balcony.

(If they want to go further, we could even experience some other major events, like Malfurion vs Xavius and Deathwing's betrayal, no matter they happen a lot before the final battle. Volkrin's idea could work with this perfectly )

If, IF, IF (and that's a big if) they include a WotA BG, they'd probably tie it into the expansion's theme, like CoT Strat was tied into the Arthas theme of WotLK. They'd probably include the part where Neltharion turns on his fellow dragons, uses the dragon soul, and becomes Deathwing.

Remember the vision we see in Yogg-Saron's brain room is the creation of the Dragon Soul and it features Neltharion so I think it's safe to assume that the new CoT instance will revolve around that.

Actually...that would be pretty cool. Mostly because they could then do a Fall of Stormwind instance at a later patch/Xpack.

Well, did you expect that a simple an event as the Opening of the Dark Portal would involve that much action from the players' part? And it turned out to be quite action-packed. I'm just saying.

And when Blizzard design an instance around an event, they can virtually come up with anything for us to do. I'm just saying.

I can't believe WoTA would become a 5-man. But goosh it would be so freaking awesome to see Zin-Azshari and the original Well of Eternity.
