Whitedeer Doodle Depot
Hello all.
As not to clutter other people's threads (or my own) this is where I'll dump all my Warcraft fan art, fan fiction fan art, and etc. Also if you know...any of you all loyal readers of S.D.S had any art you'd like to share *cough hack wheeze* this would be the place to do it  .Also if you'd like to do an art trade, commission art, etc you can post your requests here. This will be updated periodically  All NSFW images will be linked and labeled, everything else will be on display. Also keep in mind my cheap ass scanner is broken so all these had to be taken by camera v_v.~*~ Title: Straydog Extra Comic 1 - "Damn Sand..."  Comments: An illustrated comic of the first few events in my fan fic "Straydog Saga" ~~~ Title: Straydog Extra Comic 2 - "Ima's Dream Cake"  Comment: Ima's about to set off on the adventure of her young life. She's nervous but a talk with Master Romulus Redmane ALWAYS seems to perk her up. ~~~ Title: "Stand So Close to Me"  Comment: This is one of my favorites so far. I really like how Keesha came out and Han doesn't look as flat as I've drawn him in the past. GET SOME!!!

Well, I always salute those who can do something I can't, and drawing is a biggie. One tester even claimed I'm disabled in that area, and I can't say I disagree. I'm 22, and my drawings still look like a kindergardner's. You command my respect, but don't expect anything more than comments from this direction.

I'm in Dark's position in that I can't draw for shit... but there are a few criticisms I could make with your art. Most notably, every single one of your characters seems to be twisting his or her neck around into odd positions, which is a result of the characters' heads/faces not being in a natural direction relatively to their bodies. I can practically hear their spines cracking. In the full body shot of those two characters, the woman has incredibly short arms relative to her body. Still better than anything I could do, though.

Hey all,
Thanks for the comics and critiques! Always trying to improve etc. Yeah my big issue is I've never had a figure study class so sometimes the positions seem a little off...though I myself can twist my neck pretty far without crackling...I should probably stop using myself as a model. I've often been criticized for the length of my arms, but in the past they've been too long xD I'll get them the right length someday I'll post a few more I did when I get home today.

I never TRY drawing humanoids, so you're better than me in that regard. I stick to machines and monsters, since you can't very well say that there's a standard proportion for a lovecraftian tentacle god or a spaceship.

Well I'm sick and could not go into work...so in between sleep and etc, I managed to snap a few more photos for updates.
~*~ Title: Straydog Comic 3 - "Bring it!"  Comments: I got a little lazy in the coloring so the bottom half is a bit whiter than planned but as always Keesha was fun to draw. Seth gets better looking the more practice i get with him so expect to see more of him .--- Title: Straydog Comic 4 - "Please don't kill me!"  Comments: I really like how Imajin came out in the last panel, though the image was a little blurry. Stupid pen started exploding in certain parts and Monk's hand could use some work. --- Title: Straydog Comic 5 - "Rom the C@#K-Block"  Comments: Another blurry picture. This one really made my pen have the screaming squirts, so much so i had to use the smudge tool in photoshop to get rid of it. Still Ori and Seth look decent and I love drawing his hands...a lot.

I tried to make a pinnacle of manly-ness in Romulus....and he ended up a mage for some reason, go figure xD. Either way, he is rolling in the felines.
