I sort of feel responsible for this fiasco, I just wanted the kid to be redeemed

Edit: I really recommend that you possibly link this thread to the current arena that is now taking place. It's probably in bad taste though so I'd leave that up to you Noz.

Personally I think it's the best option since he doesn't listen to constructive criticism and won't leave because of people ganging up on him. Pity too, would have liked to join the hate wagon if it turned out he actually listened.

There is irony in all his posts. Everytime he insults someone, he insults himself twice as much. The only reason I find him worse than Ashendant is that Ashen doesn't have a post rate of over thousand posts per month. Ashendant has his moments, but Soldrethar is like a god damn crapmachine spewing out bullshit all over the forum at an incredible rate. Imagine what the forum will look like in a year if he stays untouched by the staff.

Ignoring thirty posts a day is pretty hard. Especially when 90% of them gets quoted over and over in this endless flamewar.

Well, a more valued poster would have the wits to see it coming. Soldrethar assumed he was being bullied when they were infact acting friendly, and he forced it into a hostile flamewar.

A perm ban probably isn't the solution but I do think there's some merit in the idea of a couple days ban. May I point out that the same thing happened to Roblore and it worked?

They've had a feud for awhile, it wasn't for no reason.
"Do you approve what he said" and "Does he have the right to say it" are totally different.

Did he personally insult people? I don't know but I know moderators sometimes don't do anything about it.

About all the lore argument, wow it's just a game, don't take it too seriously.

Well, we gave RobLore a three-day ban, didn't we? That's pretty much as far as I'm willing to go in terms of punishing Sold. Maybe ass him.

On that topic, I demand that those asses I posted in the rules thread be added to the ass pool! Variety is the spice of life, after all.
