Well, Xaran just told me that he received his copy of the newest issue of magazine and here are some couple of details he quickly mentioned to me, though no details:

The Troll > NE thing was something I've suspected for a while. They're just too similar.
But don't expect the Night Elves themselves to accept it. :p

At least it's Dark Trolls, the coolest kind of trolls IMO.
And I'm sure I wasn't the only person that had a hunch that if Night Elves came from any specific kind of troll, it had to have been Dark Troll. Now then... I can has Night Elf Shaman now?

I'd say Forest Trolls, mostly due to my Zul'jin bias.

You may not.

Meh, mostly because I wish Night Elves still had a sense of mystery about them. It just feels like they get more and more bland with every story arc they go through now. But it's not something I'm going to overly QQ about and I will simply lay it down.

Everything else sounds juicy, can't wait to hear more about the Tauren.

Can't say I'm surprised about the Night Elves being evolved from Trolls thing. That was overshadowed beyond what was necessary.
As far as humans being the result of the Curse of the Flesh, I throw my head back, laugh, and tell about 25 people from the Story Forums that I was right, they were wrong, and they can go eat a dick >=) Or I would if I could post there. XD

Ever since I saw that dark troll concept art at Blizz HQ I had a feeling that the night elves would be evolved from them. I can't wait to see Ferlion's reaction to this.

My first reaction is "I'm buying this". The magazine seems to have sucked less as time went on.

My eyes went right to the 'Pandaren' bit. Problem, Mists of Pandaria naysayers?

I bet Sargeras looked like a charming young man before that horrible business with the dreadlords.

Will I get issue 5 if I subscribe now? Do bookstores carry it (the nearest one to me is several miles away)?

The fact that theres a massive Titan reveal as well as artwork for all the big players makes me want this so baddly. Seeing Sargeras pre corruption is worth the prices on its own. I cannot WAIT to hear some some details on the dawn of the universe, I was speculating about that like 2 weeks ago on here. I really wouldn't have expected this to be delivered in comic form. Tauren being pre Titan, isn't something I expected because of the recent reveal of which races were. Still pretty interesting, I wonder if they share similarites to demonic traits for a reason. More likely though is there was a Bull ancient as they are playing the Lobster Ancient card with the Makrura. But if thats the case, that would mean the Ancients are pre Titan which should make things pretty interesting. Night Elves and Dark Trolls don't really surprise me, but I get to rub it in the Elune's myths are creationist gospel people. I guess they can still play the "Guiding hand" bullshit, but I'd just like to say "IN YOUR FACE!" Pandaren = Panda Ancient. It seems like most of the Animal gods likely popped out humanoid offspring Curse of Flesh Vrykul reveal is pretty much a no brainer. Draenor Earth Giant reveal is pretty interesting. They had bones, which means they were made out of flesh to some extent. I'm really glad that this is being brought up, their absence in Outland drove me crazy, it seemed like they just were dropped out of existance. REALLY interesting though, I wonder if these were Titans or something else. Theres some pretty serious lore to speculate about here. The Ettin SORT of annoys me. While it makes total sense, their inclusion in WoW at this point seems... stunted. I really think Ogres have been overused to the point of insanity in WoW. Seriously, the amount of Zones they are in is next to the Trolls... and the Trolls are the oldest race in Azeroth, what the fuck is with the Ogres dominating Azeroth. It's crazy, their in Kalimdor, Behind the wall in Gilneas etc. Adding a new bigger fancier giant Ogre relative to Azeroth is pretty fucking goofy, I'm starting to think they retconned the Ogres being from Draenor at this point. Magnataur being related to Cenarius its pretty fucking interesting... lots to talk about here. If centaur were born from one of his kids fucking a stone princess, the Magnataur origins are really something worthy of discussing. This could even put Cenarius's Elune sexy Stag party origin into some amount of question. Pygmies NOT being related to Gnomes really threw me a curve ball. Goblins though... SAY WHAT?! Pretty messed up... I wonder if they went through a change similar to the Highelves based on skin tone and stuff. This is really weird and unexpected |

Earth Giants were only mentioned once before, by the Tribunal of Ages as an unseen counterpart to Storm Giants. I wonder if Aesir and Vanir are still titans or just giants...
