Crossed Axes (War2) Warcraft IV DETAILS LEAKED

Ok my friend has hacked into Blizzard and found details of what will appear in Warcraft IV, coming 2015. I've decided to share it with you:

--------------------------------------------------

Warcraft IV will be released alongside Titan, the new MMO in 2015. WC4 will wipe the slate clean and restart the saga of the WC lore all over from the Frozen Throne. Some things were the same. Many were different/retconned. Some things were restored(The original origin for the Dranei). So go back to Azeroth and rejoin the Alliance, the Horde, the Night Elves and the Forsaken as they battle the Scourge, the Legion, the Naga, and a shady cult, all leading up to one climactic battle that will decide the fate of the universe.

==Story==

Warcraft IV takes place 4 years after the Frozen throne, it focuses on a sinister cult called "SoL" manipulating king Varian of Stormwind and Thrall into war with each other. The cult is lead by a crazed Shadow Council Warlock and seeks to create a perfect world.............by whatever means necessary.

They manipulate the death of Admiral Proudmoore, in reality a member of SoL himself as a reason for the Alliance to hate the Horde and to get Varian to go to war with Thrall. Meanwhile Thrall has been settling into his new land with the help of Jaina and his allies the Tauren and the Trolls. However he faces trouble from pro-war Orcs who are pushing for war with the Alliance.

Eventually, this bad blood will be the final straw that will start the Forth War.

The Night Elves are now mortal without the World Tree and some of them try to find extreme ways of regaining immortality, some forming their own factions and going to war with Furion and Tyrande who also struggle with their now mortal existence.

Meanwhile Arthas, the Lich King has awakened, he sends the Scourge to attack everything in Azeroth. He has Kel'thuzad take Naxxramas to attack Sylvanas, hoping to destroy the Forsaken once and for all.

There are other threats as well, various demon cults are gathering and using the new war as an opportunity to summon the Legion for a final assault on Azeroth.

And in the midst of it all..............an ancient enemy is watching............waiting for his opportunity to strike.........

The game is split into 4 expansions similar to SC2. The first game is only the alliance campaign and the next one is Horde then Forsaken and finally Night Elf. The Alliance campaign deals with the Alliance's perspective of the Fourth War and ends in a cliffhanger. It follows the badass human paladin David Lister a member of the elite Alliance Nachtmaren battalion. He has a grudge with Orcs, and Undead and he is sent on missions by Field Marshal Anatole Leonard, the Leader of your battalion. He is a insane human who seeks vengeance on the Orc for what they did in the First and Second Wars as well as the Forsaken for what they did to his mentor Garithos. In the Alliance campaign, Leonard will occasionally "throw a monkey wrench" into the works, sending you on missions that will harm the ceasefire between the Alliance and the Horde. In truth he is a member of SoL and goes by the title "Lord Thornby". He is helped by the young but corrupt nobleman Alford Von Xie of the insane Xie bloodline and they manipulate events to their favor. The Alliance Campaign, and thus the name of WCIV is Corruption of Stormwind.

Horde Campaign deals with Thrall and his attempts to cool the tensions between both factions but he fails, it is the same structure as the Alliance campaign. Not much is known at the moment. The Horde expansion is entitled: Strength of the Warsong

Forsaken campaign is about Sylvanas and her attempts to carve out a Forsaken empire while under fire from the Scourge, the Scarlet Crusade and the Alliance and make it a major power. This campaign will have roleplaying elements with the player able to level up Sylvanas through the missions and increase her powers as Queen of the Forsaken as she brings more undead under her control. The Undead expansion is entitled: Wrath of the Forsaken

Finally the Night Elf campaign deals with the Night elf's struggles against their newfound mortality. The main character is Furion and he has to employ diplomacy between warring Night Elf tribes to acquire units and technologies for each mission. But he has to work against his new enemies, the Archdruid Staghelm and the SoL Archdruid Omacron. This campaign sees the return of the Illidari, Blood Elf and the Naga for one final strike against Arthas as a 7-level mini campaign. There is then a 15-level "Final Arc" that converges all 4 storylines into an epic final battle against SoL and an ancient threat. The Final expansion is entitled: Legacy of the Highbourne.

==Gameplay==

This game retains a lot of the popular aspects of WC3 and updates everything to new graphics. Heroes and levels are kept and the level cap has been increased to 15. However it's not totally focused on heroes and while Heroes do have a major part in the game it is mostly based on units and strategies. The food cap has been increased and can be set between 100-300 in a regular game. Each race will have 5 heroes and new units

A new feature of this game is the ability to assign tactics to units. You can assign when a unit can use skills and what triggers certain skills. This makes it easier to micromanage everything. You can have tactics be assigned to one unit of all units of same type. Heroes will still have to be manually controlled through.

==Races==

The initial release of this game gives 5 races for you to play with. Human, Night Elf, Demon, Legion and Undead. The Night Elf expansion will include the Illidari race which is a combination of Naga, Dranei(old lore) and Blood Elf races

For the first time the Burning Legion is a race here are their details:

Main Building: Demonic Citadel

Trains:

Gan'arg workers: Main builder unit for Legion
Cultist: Spellcaster with minor magics (able to summon imps at tier 1-2, Voidwalkers at tier 3)

Food supply: Portals increase food limit and can be used to summon units from location x to y.

"Barracks": Assault Portal

Felguards: regular foot soldiers, almost as strong as grunts
Felhounds: anti-magic hounds, use against mana wielders
Wrathguard: warrior eredars, they act as the bodyguards of the more powerful man'ari Eredars.

Warlock Portal:

Shivarra: military chaplain and priestesses that can fight pretty well, able to cure and put curses on enemies
Eredar Diabolist: powerful warlocks with many offensive abilities, can summon Infernals
Succubus: Rogue like troops that can turn invisible, can brainwash/charm enemies.

Demonic Workshop

Mo'arg Tinkers: huge abominations, part machine, part mo'arg. Pretty strong shocktroops that can lay traps
Infernal Machine: the main siege weapon of the burning legion, attack from a good distance but only effective against buildings.
Fel Reavers

Heroes:

Pit Lord
Dreadlord
Eredar Warlock
Doom Guard
Doomwalker(Advanced Fel Reaver)

==Game Modes==

Campaign: Play the 30 mission campaign. It's structured in a similar fashion to SC2's campaign where you have a war room where you can choose which missions to take and which units to buy.

Conquest: Play on a map of Azeroth with Alliance, Horde, Night Elf, Scourge, Forsaken(race made for this mode) and Legion to see who takes over the map. It is similar to Total War games and is totally freefoam(guide your army around Azeroth, kill anything unfriendly, manage your own territories). The region maps themselves are RTS style when you attack a territory or city. The final expansion will add Outland to this, and the final assault on a faction's stronghold has it's own unique rules similar to Dawn of War.

Law/Chaos system: Throughout Conquest Mode you will be given various choices on what to attack and some other side missions. This will move some sort of slider to Order or Chaos depending on your actions as a faction. It would depend on who joins your faction in the end, and what items you would get.

Destruction System: The Scourge and the Legion get this instead of the Law/Chaos System. Depending on what you destroy/conquer and what side missions you perform this bar will increase or decrease. Keep it up as it can help you get better units/heroes.

Hero/Inventory system: You can command various heroes from your faction in Conquest Mode. The max level is 30 and they have various skill trees that you can allocate points to based on their hero class. They can command armies and attack territories and equip inventory items from enemies they kill. Depending on how well you do your faction leader(Varian, Lich King, Thrall, Kil'Jaeden, etc) might join as heroes, they are the strongest but you can't equip anything on them and they start at max level)

Creep Zones: Some territories are held by creep units/neutral units(ie: Old God minions, Dragonflights Defilas, Scarlet Crusade, etc). These Zones are important to the expansion of your race in conquest mode. Some of them may contain dungeons such as AQ and Onyxia's lair after you conquer that territory. They hold the strongest creeps and bosses. After taking a territory with your units with a dungeon or raid, you can choose to send your heroes to do that dungeon for extra experience and loot.

Standard Map: Play a normal game with an Al opponent can take place on a random map or a WC lore-themed one

Battlenet: Connect to battlenet.

World Editor: Create your own map or campaign, from what my friend was able to leak it seems to be epic.

---------------------------------------------------

Don't believe me: Here's the WC4 trailer

He's also leaked WC4 trailer

He's also leaked some Gameplay too and it's Alliance vs Burning Legion, finally you can see the new demon race in Action!!

And some Conquest Mode gameplay for Horde as well!

SEE YOU IN 2015!

It may have been slightly more believable if the introduction did not contain your personal wishes coming true, and the word "SoL" was not in the first line of the story section.

Xie still considers it an April's Fools jokes. He said it himself.
