Greetings to you

So, what do you think will happen during the Heart of the Swarm campaign? Any crazy theory is welcome, though I guess serious ones would be more appreciated.

I think that...

...Mengsk will die and Valerian will become the new emperor

...The zerg will be 'freed', which will lead to a cliffhanger 'till Legacy of the Void

...Sarah will leave Raynor, who will continue his struggles against the Dominion.

Well, we saw what may be an ending.

Mensk will die. The zerg will be independent creatures. Something with Nova.

I'm just unhappy that my Mothership and Carrier are going away. I liked those two, thematically, even if they weren't the greatest units around.

Well we saw a bit of the "leaked" ending in the new trailer, that is the marines running down the halway, and Nova's lil snippet.

Never cared for the mothership. However, I do use the carrier rather frequently when playing protoss. If you can get a few without your opponent knowing, you're golden. They're also amazing against zerg assuming you can get rid of any eventual hydralisks.

I think the leaked ending is true and that's how it will end (though I hope that Kerrigan will get her wings back at that point)

Dr. Narud and perhaps Mengsk will try to take control over the Zerg and Hybrids.

Really? That's pretty darn awesome. Do they have a lore panel where you can ask questions as they do with WoW? Is there somewhere I can read the questions/answers?

I'm derailing my own topic here but have any of you guys seen the new units? I kind of get the impression that the Protoss will get the most fun but least valuable units (at least combat-wise), while the Terran and the Zerg will get the über pwnz of doom.

I was referring more to Kotaku's way of overdramatizing everything.

I'd imagine the campaign is shorter because it's an expansion, not a full game. My guess is that most likely it's just missing something along the lines of the Zeratul side mission, and thus it's short by that many missions. I don't recall them saying specifically why it's shorter at Blizzcon, but I didn't go to all the panels.

I hate it too, and the worst is that they say "it's better for the gameplay", "the experience is much more better", "the players want it" and more bullshit. They promised a trilogy, and this is not their original definition of trilogy.

So there whole reasoning for justifying three seperate game for the campaign and making you buy each game, was that the campaigns were so big that there were as many missions for each of SC2, than there was in the entirety of SC1 or BW...and then they go and cut that many missions?
