Default Map Design
When you go about designing the terrain for a campaign map, how do you usually go about it?

I myself always tried to sketch down the map on paper, making notes were the different bases are, possible paths and some key locations... and of course the elevation/water.

And then I go about my business mapping the map piece by piece

If studying design teached me something is that there's nothing better than grabbing a piece of paper and a pencil and start sketching any good ideas you might have in your head.

That's right!

Heck, I always have paper with me in case I have ideas for some creatures (or back in my modding days, maps and campaigns)...

Boy I miss my TF2 themed mission in A Tinker's Tale...
