Faction vs. faction is not exclusive to Warcraft 1 in their RTS Warcraft games.

However it was the only one that didn't have external influences driving the invasion.

It was the Orcish warlocks.. In Warcraft 2 the Burning Legion was introduced, and were a driving force behind the Orcs. In Warcraft 3, the legion made another appearance.

Warcraft 1 was really the only one about the war between the two factions through rivalry.

I think they'd have specifically said Deathwings death in that case. Makes sense since we've already been told almost a year passed by the time we went into DS.

Well considering the Skyfire crashes into the giant turtle and the Pandaren are dealing with it just then. Probably goes along the lines of now that Deathwings gone Garrosh goes 'KILL KILL KILL' and runs into Theramore while Varian goes 'Rawr me kill too! Let's make war at that island over there!'.
