Speaking of book recommendations, I'd like to suggest that you all read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. My brother, the one with the talent, recommended it to me and by the Eight Spheres and Seven Voids, is it amazing. It is jaw-droppingly well-written with a wry, gentle sense of humor. It's about two guys in Brooklyn in the '30s. One is recently out of Prague, where his Jewish family remains in a state of fear.

I'm not very far in, but already I am adoring it. Seriously, check it out.
