Florida? Pssh, don't be silly. The zombies of Florida are obviously facing a serious existential threat from the still living citizens of the rest of North America. As formerly living citizens of a portion of North America they have the right to secure the safety of their unlives by killing all of the living humans still on the same continent as themselves. Don't worry though, I'm sure they'll stop once the reach the Panama Canal.

California's lore is really boring in comparison to Florida's. It has no history and is too isolated.

California has gangs. Lots of them. Miami's lore got boring after the 80's.

Florida was a driving force in the American Revolutionary War and in the Seven Years War. California was a non-entity that was barely even mentioned and the next time we saw it they were more focused on Mexicans than fighting the British for some reason.

On a slightly creepy note...

There was an unexplained rash starting on 5/16. two days after that, Hazmat crews were called in to Fort Lauderdale airport to check out an unknown chemical that sent 5 people to the hospital.

5/20 had a 41 year old doctor get arrested. He spit blood in a police officers face, and was extremely agitated and enraged, repeatedly banging his head into things.

5/21 a man charged a woman and bit her face.

5/23, a man bites his cousins nose off.

5/24, another rash

5/25, a canadian man was arrested aboard an airplane after attempting to rush the cockpit. The plane just landed in miami.

Then, the guy gets his face bit off.

Today, a man was rushed to the hospital after he cut out his own intestines and threw them at the police.
