For simply background music, this track always had a certain appeal. I remember humming along with it while running the ICC instances. Simple ambiance, but a damn good track.

I was tromping around Jade Forest on my Worgen, enjoying the sights when I started hearing this play upon arriving at Serenity Falls.



Nothing that hasn't already been datamined but it was really nice hearing it in game. I just sat down and enjoyed the moment. beautiful

Maybe I'm crazy, but for some reason my ears tell me that Samewise is singing this.

You know what would fit the Scarlet Crusade great? This.

From Disney, of all things. I like how the beginning fits the old Lordaeron kingdom, and then the "Hellfire" segment goes all fanatical, like if the Crusade is burning down "plagued" villages.

Kun'lais music is absolutely amazing. Jeremy Soule knocked that out of the park.

What tickles my tenders though, is that the zone reminds me so much of Skyrim, and then the Skyrim composer did the music for it and *shock* it sounds like Skyrim music!

I recently fell in love with the "Battle for Gnomeregan" theme". Particularly because of how it's used with the Gnome opening. There you are, starting out in the radiated wasteland of your former home. You fight diseased beings that once had been your neighbors and countrymen. You struggle to rescue just a handful of survivors who are desperate for escape. Then your tour of duty ends, you decontaminate, and you move on to New Tinkertown...

...and as you rise to the surface of this new city, the musical score resounds with images of hope and new beginning. Just hearing it, you know that even though these Gnomes have reached a low point, there is nothing that can stop them from landing on their feet.

At least, that's what the music tells me.

The shadopan theme is the most awesome Pandaria track thus far. It's so cool.

Love this track, plays all throughout the world in Cataclysm. Reminds me a bit of Diablo.

Last Days of the Alliance. Totally matches with all the problems humans had to suffer from in warcraft 3. I wish they put this soundtrack in wow as Stormwind's theme. The current one is good but not amazing.

Speaking of human themes, I always liked Journey to Kalimdor. Alpa Warcraft III human theme is also really sweet, a shame they didn't use it anywhere.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but the Vanilla Plaguelands music I still find to be one of the most effective tone-setters in Warcraft history. The Plaguelands wouldn't be half as eerie without it.
