I think from now on people should act like every member of Cdev is looking down upon us (even though thats not the case) we should be civil, we should discuss the actual lore rather than pushing our personal agendas and having temper-tantrums over minor details.

All I'm asking for is sanity, less fighting, more friendship. Blizzard has to deal with ENOUGH bullshit from the Story Forums and the main community, if anything we SHOULD be actually trying to elevate us from the common rabble. Less whiny geeking out and more speculative civil geeking out would bring this place back to the status quo of bygone years. Thats all I've ever asked, more mature discussions, more things to be proud of.

I'm not saying I'm a bastion of maturity in the face of adversity either, I'm smarmy, snarky, foul mouthed and a caustic asshole, I know this, but I don't want to have to be. When people point out your personal flaws don't see it as an insult, see it as something to work on to respect everyone else. Things would be so much better...

I've made it clear I don't like some of you, but honestly, all my resentful remarks are TRYING to spur you to improve.
Now I'm just imagining Metzen randomly browsing this site and stumbling upon my sig.

As per the subject we are talking about here, I honestly haven't seen much LORDAERONLORDAERON posts that much aside from Fojar, and even he has toned it down quite a bit. I think it's just his nature and style of posting which is something you can't really change that easily. Specially since every now and then, even if he posts something Lordaeron related, and it's not completely off-topic and doesn't contain any Horde bashing, other people here(my self included sometimes honestly) just bash his posts, which in turn causes yet another debacle.

So really while there are usual subjects, they don't hold all the blame as to why things use(d) to fly out of control.

Mana

Lynching is not good. There is a handful of admins and mods on these forums - they decide who and what are to be banned, not posters.

You must be new. SoL always polices itself and rarely do mobs and admins do much.

Well that always is a much less impressive 99% of the time now, unfortunately. Thanks again Soldrethar!

Two enter...and both probably will leave but everyone will be facepalming.

I have seen this kinds of discussions in the past and it was never good.

Soldrethar issue was resolved only when Cantus intervened.

I think they work fine! Or using the logic you just used. If the mods have an issue with it they'll say something and don't need you trying to tell others what to do.

Civility? On SoL? Hah!
