Just what do the fans of Kul Tiras imagine the place to be like?
Personally I'm leaning towards something similar to the Iron Islands, but with a mediterrean feel/look.

I think it would be cool if Kul Tiras was an archipelago. A bunch of islands and its capital is one big island. I imagine the buildings would still be medieval and identical to the other kingdoms; or venetian if Blizz wants to make it flashy; and it'd be like Theramore in the Old Hatreds campaign: a city with waterways and canals that lets giant ships into the massively walled city and acts as transportation through out the city. People would ride gondolas or steam boats, transporting people through out the capital city/island. The lesser island territories I suppose would have lots of wood to create ships, but not a lot of mines or quarries. Most of the islands have wooden structures unlike the capital city and rely on the navy to protect them from seige.

I opted for Lordaeron cause of the "obvious" reasons i.e. the WC3 factor and the whole majestic look it had overall. It was also sort of the Human paladin capital in a way though I could be wrong on that count. Plus, the offshoot organizations that sprung up from it's demise (the scarlet crusade and the argent dawn) had really interesting bits of lore attached to them. I felt sorry for the former especially in the Wotlk expansion when we discovered that they were being manipulated by one of the Nathrezim once again while the Horde, Alliance and the DKs of the Ebon Blade went about slaughtering them left and right.
If I had the option to choose one more Human Kingdom, I'd list Dalaran as well. I've always been fascinated by mages. I'd have gone with Theramore as well but I feel that Blizz kind of downplayed it's importance (probably so as not to overshadow the main human capital i.e Stormwind) in WoW.

I voted Theramore, but Kul Tiras is close second. I'm imagining something greco-romano-phoenician. As in, rather classical and high on marine tradition.

Dalaran, due largely to my general fascination with magic, in addition to the nation's political pragmatism.

I imagine Kul Tiras being either Spanish or Portuguese.

I do not consider the great Dalaran a mere 'human' kingdom.
So Lordaeron. Gives me chills every time. |

Stormwind.
Only nation that's still doing something/has it's homeland intact. Kul'tiras is part of the Alliance, but not doing anything. Stromgarde is part of the Alliance, but barely holding it's own in it's own lands. Gilneas is part of the Alliance, but their homeland is ruined. At least the GLF (not officially "Gilneas" as a faction), is doing something with the help of the 7th Legion, though. Lordaeron is destroyed. Alterac is destroyed. Dalaran is Neutral. Assuming all 7 Kingdoms where in their Pre-3rd war state (so active), it'd be: Lordaeron Stormwind Stromgarde Kul'tiras Dalaran Gilneas Alterac Post 3rd War and WoW, it's: Stormwind Lordaeron (the Human part of it) Stromgarde Kul'tiras Gilneas Dalaran Lordaeron (the current 'inhabitants') Alterac If you include Theramore in there as it's own nation, it's probably between my second favorite. It's actually doing something and is part of the Alliance!

Nice to see Stormwind in second place.

Stormwind is the Vanilla Human faction, and as such, the one everyone loves to hate.
Jeeeeez.

In my personal defense, I didn't hate Stormwind until Blizzard started shoving it down my throat with an industrial-grade jackhammer.

The problem with Stormwind is that it does not have much of its own lore. Stormwind seems like a new Lordareon at the moment, because of the large number of Lordareon refugees in its lands. Stormwind seems to have very few pure blood Stormwinders. All humans talk of reclaiming Lordareon. They rarely mention heroes of Stormwind(like Lothar). Instead, we hear only about Lordareon heroes like Uther the Lightbringer(who has a statue in Cathedral Square). Human roleplayers are always from Lordareon. If Blizzard gives us some good pre-Warcraft 1 lore about Stormwind, I am sure its popularity will rise.

Suddenly, Stormwind seems to have become very popular. In fact, it has more votes than Lordareon. However, Gilneas' popularity surprises me, considering that it's ruler was extremely selfish and arrogant at one stage. Well, the worgen are probably the reason for this.
