Default Cross-Realm zones and lvl 90 World PvP

Here is my question: If a high pop realm is 80% Alliance and 20% Horde, when it comes to World PvP in Pandaria zones (86-90), will Cross-Realm kick in to balance factions? Or is Horde on this server just severely outnumbered, leaving the Alliance bored with no formidable opponent?

No clue. They haven't commented on it yet. I'm guessing yes, they can decide to just input more Alliance into the Zone and no Horde. They have the technology to make several copies of a zone, don't see why this isn't possible as well. And I think it'll have to be, it's extremely integral to reviving world PvP.

i didn't read anywhere that if a zone has 80% more alliance than the zone will be filled with the matching numbers of hordes from other servers to bring balance in the zone.

it might be nice but i can't state that this will happen.

btw world pvp will happen if the players move their ass. no one facilitated tarrens mill or barren fights. they happened because the players at that time wanted it to happen. there was no incentive to do them. so don't blame blizzard. a lot of players are just to lazy or too whorish to do anything if it doesn't include a reward besides FUN....

There was incentive to do those fights because people actually showed up at the entrance to Alterac Valley, which was the best place to earn honor and grind titles.

Now nobody leaves the cities... end game is standing around waiting in queue. World PvP only happens if you find someone while you're out farming, or maybe while doing dailies.

oh i never fought in front the alterac valley entrance. mostly tarrence mill or some places in kalimdor. it was a long way from ironforge to TM or Barrens back then but we still did it.

i think zoneing in to anywhere with a panel is the main problems. i am fine with pvp panel, but the dungeon panel was what killed it. i still hada lot of good fights in font of icecrown, ulduar, the new blackwinglair entrance because these are places one still has to fly too. before the dungeon panel, the dungeon entrances were also a good place to fight. everything else is either something where you can port too and doesn't offer a good fighting ground.

anyway if the players want there world pvp so bloody much they should fly around looking for prey or fight in front of quest hubs.

TBH I think the capitals should only be used for a few things:

- bank
- auction house
- void storage/transmog/reforge
- class trainer

I think LFD and LFR should stay but let's take queuing up for BGs and have them only be able to que up in the old world places, and battlemasters put in Pandaria. Somewhere in the open like a field of battle or some shit, not in a town.

Also they need to implement the fucking dismount gadget they are talking about, it's due.

if i want to switch from alterac to warsong i would have to fly/ride/walk a long while to do so. keep the BGQueue Panel. Dungeons/Raids would be ok without the panel coz you want to stick there for a while and not hop around.

Couldn't they make two entrances: one at the capital and one at the actual site? People who wanted to hop around could hang out at the capital, but people who specifically wanted to avoid the waiting crowds could go to the site directly.

Already implemented, just in a really dumb position. http://mop.wowhead.com/item=86584

Drops from a Pandaria rare mob, essentially meaning it will be rare as hens teeth and half the playerbase won't be aware it exists.

Two enter...and both probably will leave but everyone will be facepalming.
