Omnicon's got its first plot hook! Hurrah!

Mark Nelson, incidentally, is a human of moderate height, standing at just under six feet, with dark brown hair that extends past his face in a pair of mutton chops. He has a thick mustache but no beard to speak of. He continues to wear his standard issue Kul Tiras Hydromancer robes, which are fashioned from a stiff fabric of navy blue. They are fastened down the chest by a double row of gold buttons. A brass buckle in the shape of an anchor holds the robe together at the waist, below which the hem hangs down to his ankles. Beneath the robes he wears a pair of standard issue Kul Tiras Navy trousers, made of the same material as the above. He also still has his beautiful tricorn hat. He wears a pair of makeshift sandals, having lost his standard issue Kul Tiras Navy boots on the first planet he arrived on. He keeps his uniform in pristine condition, being desperately proud of his service in the Admiralty Navy and still hoping deep down that one day he'll find his way home.

Is this forum ready for a cross over fanfiction between WC and Glen Cook´s black company?

Having finished the series, well the 16 shadowgates open up cross overs with pretty much anything and since Warcraft already has the dark portal I might use the chance of all this portal madness

Quote:
In those days the black company was unemployed and earning the enmity of the nations of the land of unknown shadows, none could hope to contest us, especially with all we did even if the cost was too great

Soldiers live, and wonder why

That was the mantra of my father, the one he used to say often in the last days of his life, he had explained to me that this meant how with all the death that had followed him why was he the only one alive? In his homeworld his friends had been killed in the war against the dominator, of the black company only 7 traveled to the south in which he and he alone was the last survivor from the north.

We share some of his pain, after all only Shukrat and I remain of Khatovar, the last visit left a lot in my mind, maybe our brethren the Voroshk did manage to take back our world form the killer shadows, part of me wants to go back, but the other part knows that they only planned to use me to breed themselves a new generation of magicians, fate would have it that my adopted sister and father bailed me out.

Yet now, our new captain Suvrin has left the land of the unknown shadows after being visited by a black raven, our company has a long history with said birds, our former patriarch and liberator of all taglios used to always be surrounded by them, Murgen our analyst and Lady the lieutenant (and my adoptive mother) too used to swap their minds into an albino raven, a device they used to guide the black company trough rough times.

I should also mention that some other entities used these means, Shivetia and Soul Catcher but we have yet to see any white raven, why then does our captain has us pack our things then, after all this time of dominance in the land of unknown shadows?

Yet as the new annalist I Arkana must be the one to record all these events, Suvrin might not be Aridata but he will have to do, I cant let Shukrat be the only one to enjoy her life with a man.

Tobo has never quite been the same ever since the disaster at Taglios, his confidence is dented and the constant haunting of her mother, grandmother and great grandmother have him as someone entirely different I can only guess how much my sister is pushing on his morals and ethics, I really think he could use a break

As we pass the lands of the glittering stone in which the demon Shivetia and his high priestess the lady reside we venture forth to this new world in this restored shadowgate, if Croaker...Shivetia... my father decided to repair the shadowgate it must be something of great importance, only 3 years have passed since Croaker died but this realm we go is not Khatovar, Taglios or the land of unknown shadows.

It is called Azeroth

Skids taps Megatron's Autobot badge.

Skids: Right. There. What does that badge even mean to you? How has wearing it forced you to modify your behaviour? I'm serious! How has being an Autobot in any way prevented you from doing exactly what you want? Because if the answer is "it hasn't"—then nothing you've said or done in the last six months counts for anything.

I'm working on a SW&LotR crossover now, about Anakin and Obi Wan help Middle Earth against Sauron and Dooku/Saruman. Obi Wan has romance with Eowyn. Padme married Bail(after he became a widower) because Anakin went missing, later Anakin later fall to the Dark Side because of him falling in love with :raptor::raptor::raptor::raptor::raptor: but could not win her heart.

Leave Tolkien's works alone. Stop messing about with his creations. I don't give a damn of what you do to Star Wars, but keep Middle Earth out of this.

Edit: I wish I could make that many-tentacled monster cough up all the elf fans to someplace where I could talk to them. ._.

Then they are not true fans. I bet that most would not even have read Tolkien's works. They must be chaps who only saw the movies.

I guess those who think their favorite franchise cannot be topped, and it's the best out there.

Well they all read UT and The Silmarillion quite well and discuss a lot about it.

Quote:
I am also discussing with the translation issue, Galadriel, Celeborn and Elrond are not king or queen but in Chinese both Galadriel and Elrond are translated as "The elf queen Galadriel", "King Elrond". It's due to the difference of culture and political structure of ancient China and Europe. There is no accurate word in Chinese to describe "Lord" and "Lady" as a title.

So the fans are arguing they shouldn't be translated as king and queen. But if they did so, once Thranduil has more appearance in the next 2 movies people will be more confused since in their understanding, lord is beneath king and they will think these two are under Thranduil's rule.
I cannot get into The Silmarillion mostly because
1. Bloodline matters too much, all important characters have great ancestors.
2. Good is too strong, Evil is too weak especially after Morgoth' fall.

The community accept movie fans well, they are better than some more HC fans, who takes the movie fans as noob.

I do like the movies, beside Liv's :raptor::raptor::raptor::raptor::raptor:, some of the movies' plot change is better than the original plot from the novel.

As near and dear as the books are to my heart, I have to say that part of me prefers the movies a bit just because they're a lot more accessible. I don't mind working hard to enjoy a novel, but in the case of LotR, the payoff seems better justified in the movie.

Damn it, they’re too clever for me.

But should anyone ever want to talk to me about things, I exist on other planes as well.

[And everyone else can kindly ignore my attempts to communicate with invisible people.]

what kind of a name is Lor’duran, anyway. are they trying to tempt fate.
