Human Icon (War3)

I wonder if there's any truth to the rumours that Tiffin Wrynn was the descendant of a val'kyr, which are currently circulating in Stormwind.

Rarely do I dream about WoW (or anything else), but today I did, and it was horrible! Blizzard decided to reduce race-class combos to 4 combos per race and class, so dwarven paladins were a thing of the past!

Can you believe it? Draenei, blood elf and tauren paladins but no dwarves?

I had a nightmare that paladins were given two Night Elf followers but no dwarves!

Dwarves are a race? I thought Moira was just a small human

Undead Icon (War3)

I've noticed that I really miss Warcraft 3's scourge theme.

Make the Forsaken and Scourge creepy again!

Drogbar concept art. Looks like a bearman, were they originally going to be jalgar?

Aha, yes, probably.

Fortunately, the jalgar themselves are still a canon race so one could consider they look like that.

Or, like the challenge Guardian druid form.

Where was this song in Wrath of the Lich King?

You know what I want to see? A "vistas" mechanic. Like you go to a historical or culturally significant place and get a little blurb explaining what happened there or what it's about. I think FFXIV has something like that?

Question

While browsing deviantart, looking for Warcraft art, I often come across trolls with tiger stripes. I wonder how that trend started.

Probably artists/RPers getting inspired by Thekal, the troll cat form, claws of Shirvallah, and/or trolls having fur in lore. Kinda interesting. Would be cool to see some more trolls in different fur patterns like leopard spots.

Yeah, I can't say I dislike it. It meshes well with their savage nature and makes them look more like the apex predators they are.

Edit:
I'm considering starting a new (troll) character with the purpose of going through all troll quests and documenting my experience. A dwarf too, just for their starting zone and its trolls.

I was wondering, what would you guys think if, in the next expansion, in a revamped Lordaeron 110+ and stuff (or not lol), we got a Stratholme Battleground (or some place else in the Plaguelands)... Between the Order of the Silver Hand and the Knights of the Ebon Blade?

Imagine you queu to the battleground, and the server automatically divides everyone evenly, taking into consideration honor levels or points or whatever it is they call it these days.

It could set the standard for future battlegrounds that advance the lore in a non Horde x Alliance manner, and allowing for cross-faction play (like th mercenary thing they've got?)

Plus, seeing an all-out war between the Silver Hand and the Ebon Blade would be awesome.

Yeah, seeing more conflict that isn't AvH is always good.

Maybe we could even see more class orders stepping on each other's toes? Druids vs demon hunters, priests vs paladins (somebody at Light's Hope has gotta be miffed at all the shadow stuff), etc.

EDIT:
I knew the new mythic rogue set looked familiar:

One wonders whether Parvati would be a fine name for a Draenei.

Now that Talbuk have been revealed to be from Argus, I'd say that it looks like he is.

Although, he doesn't really look like one. More like the Eredar version of a goat, while Talbuk are more... antelope-like?

At least it allows you to call your Draenei Esmeralda.

He's in the larval stage. Talbuks are actually more closely related to butterflies than goats, turns out.

No no, when Argi gets older he'll form a cocoon around himself and emerge looking like a normal talbuk. The miracle of nature.
