Yeah, I <3 her too. It's a shame that it's the first and last time you meet her.

Now that WotA was done, Arthas attack on QT and a preundead Scholomance are on top of my most wanted CoT dungeons.

Browsing through the warcraft III campaign maps. In the bonus campaign, farms are renamed "Dwarven Axeman". Because reasons.

Let's say that Highlords of Azeroth introduces a new class. Will goblins and worgen be excluded again because they couldn't have had the new class in the past? If not, is it time to get hype due to the possibility of Gilmean brawlers finally being viable?

Edit: Forgot hero classes...

Why couldn't goblins or worgen have had the new class? Their AU selves were still there, right?

Draenei and orcs seem like more logical exclusions. They weren't on the planet after all. Maybe NE and tauren for the physical distance.

I was referring to the goblin and worgen starter zones and the fact that Blizzard used the fact that they occur during the Cataclysm as an excuse to not have monks. I didn't even consider the AU because HoA was mostly just a silly name, in the absence of a real name.

Jandice has clear inspiration (dare I say rip off) from Guild Wars Mesmers.

Depends, is the new class some sort of tinker/artificer, or is it a bard. Goblins not getting the 1st would be ridiculous, the latter has no definitive tie to either race.

Returning to the note of map icons, anyone ever notice that the dragonmaw use centaur icons instead of orc icons?

You mean in WOW or in WCIII?

Anyways, I love my monk and would love to play her, but she's a pandaren; she doesn't really fit in, after Pandaria. Then there's also the annoying Shang Xi's Academy reputation. Why can't they finally get rid of it or turn it into Tushui/Huojin rep?

Shang Xi is there solely to torment people like us who dislike having un-exalted reputation levels. Must be one at Blizz HQ going "okay, let's add a faction that you can never get Exalted with, because that will make someone angry and me happy".

WoW, in the twilight highlands. WCIII had neither dragonmaw nor separate icons for the centaur. I think those only came with cata. While that's the same time as the dragonmaw, the icon is pretty clearly modelled after the centaur huts, which makes it a really weird choice for the dragonmaw settlements.

I wonder which dev I should bother next.

I need to get rid of Shang Xi, if I am ever to touch that monk again.

@Ijffdie: Those icons are actually used by Horde buildings in many zones.

There is so much Belf RP couple art out there. That stuff clogs up DeviantArt like sewage. For every character art commission there's ten pieces of a short, doe-eyed Belf female leaning into the chest of her male Belf husband.

It keeps the artists in a job I guess.

I want Horde Tushui and Alliance Huojin style tabards. The philosophies seem like they flexibly encompass more than the entire factions.

It also is the best ERP that isn't cross race (night elf male + Draenei female holds that).

The flirty, human warlock vs human mage dilemma. Jandice or War Crimes warlock, what should I level?

Well, if I go with warlock I can level a Chromie gnome.

I wish that I could send those back in time to people who were Blood Elf fans in Warcraft 3 to see what happens to their favorite race of crack addicted jerkasses.
