Wow, Illidan does look a lot better using Meta's skeleton as a base.

Did everyone see the most likely fake video leak that was posted on YouTube and then taken down? It had ships as a feature and Illidan's Naga as a playable race, being called "Fury of the Sea".

The creator probably took it down or something to make it look more legit

The naga in the trailer were using the same models they have now

You should believe absolutely zero 'leaks' between now and 5 months from now.

Even the stuff at Blizzcon is questionable at this point except the main features of the expansion. Like in WoD and Legion there's a good chance a lot of the finer details will be completely changed between announcement and release.

He probably means full expansion leaks as are usually posted on Reddit/MMOC.

If you're interested, Warcraft Chronicle Vol 3. is available for pre-order on Amazon. Its release is scheduled for March 27, 2018.

And a little gift for you, the preview of the cover

I'm so happy! I thought for sure it'd be Kel'Thuzad or Arthas.

That's a really bizarre choice given Tyrande had little impact during that timeframe.

It should've been Kel'Thuzad to keep with the theme of traitor mages.

I don't think anyone would have seen that coming. Maybe they'll go into more detail about what the night elves were doing when the focus was on the alliance and horde?

Tyrande's not all that odd when you think about her relationship to Illidan, Malfurion, and Elune. She was a major reason Illidan betrayed Sargeras, as well as why he remained loyal to Azeroth as a whole. Come WC3, she released Malfurion from his slumber and Illidan from the Wardens' care. She's the primary priestess of the most powerful being in the Warcraft universe (Elune). Above all, she represents both love, duty to her people, and martial prowess when the previous two fail. And, as a symbol, she represents the Highborne, NElves, and as a basic sensibility of what Warcraft became in the modern era.

Yes Thrall, Arthas, and others promoted major ideas and campaigns, but Tyrande is the anchor point between Azeroth's past and future (10,000 years on the planet tends to give you that story weight).

I swear I saw assets for something like that in-game, but every time I click it, it just bugs out and Bird Person appears to bitch and moan about bad dreams.

If next expansion is Azshara, then Tyrande will probably be a major player.

You should ignore expansion leaks that conveniently come out right after the Kul Tiras stuff. Though at this point the expansions probably too early in development for there to likely even be someone working on it who'd risk their job by leaking anything.

Especially ones that just seem like a wishlist.

Yeah, but is she a master of forest warfare like Varian is? No? Knew it.

It's too confusing, there are all these characters that are neither human or orc, it's weird.
