n00b question here: First time on the BWE. For some reason my controls are giving me a real headache. I am having difficulty positioning my camera angle as anything other than either an overhead view or an upskirt. How do I change the camera angle?

Should be exactly like WoW.

I'm not having this problem with WoW that I am with GW2 camera angles.

I know WoW had a similar thing implemented at one point. You should be able to disabled the forced top-down view by selecting something in the options menu, probably under interface or controls.

So question: what's the deal with home servers? Does that mean I can't play on any other servers, or is that just related to realm vs. realm?

Their only purpose is WvW, really, because you can make groups with anyone from any server. Of course, when you go around, you'll mostly find the people from your server.
