My chicken fingers came in a snack rather than a meal.

I've got my little sisters tomorrow and sunday morning, and I want to do something nice.

I'm thinking tomorrow, if I've got the time, I'll make some nice bread (I'll have to bake it in a clay pot or a sturdy metal pot, but no big), some medium rare steaks, emperor rice, some mashed potatoes and some sort of desert. Then watching that TMNT cartoon.

I'm kinda sick of them eating nothing but pizza and fast food when they are over, and I'm just sick of fucking ramen.

But, I also have a grill I want to put on the back of my boat, so a BBQ with chicken and burgers might work as well.

Did I say anything about "cleansing"? As you may be aware, fellow, I do not believe in "evidence". I believe what I feel, and do what I feel.

Fasting doesn't, but dieting with certain veggies does, such as Brokkoli and Asparagus, Cauliflower etc.

Dieting is nonsense. I'll eat my sweets, and savour them too. As far as such vegetables as you mention, I find them quite useless. The best vegetables are the root vegetables. Parsnips, turnips, radishes, burdock root, ginger, lotus root, potatoes, sweet potatoes, devil's tongue yam, carrots. The more roots you eat, the more rooted in the realm of the living you'll be.

What you feel is wrong. Cleansing is the only possible" benefit" that comes from fasting, and its a meh, doesnt really work, type deal.

So if you are then going to try and say it strengthens the body, it doesnt. It destroys it.
And while YOU may do it, to go on and say its important to ones health is borderline evil you fucking twat.

You can ignore evidence but to spread such filth on purpose?

I hope you never have children so they dont get poisoned like you.

Jesus fucking christ.

Stupid fucking people.

It is important to my health. I don't know about anyone else, only myself. It strengthens me. It makes me feel as if I can face this world. It makes me feel like I can do what needs to be done. You should do what your heart commands you, not what "studies", doctors, and "scientists" tell you to. If your heart says not to fast, don't. If you heart says to do so, do so.

You needn't worry about "children", as I shan't be involved in such horrid affairs.

Are you people really turning a thread about what food you ate today into a psychological self assessment? -_-

Seriously, I made this one to talk about one thing people have in common, eating and/or drinking, not argue over fasting.

Chill the fuck out

I apologise. I was merely defending the honourable Mr Spider, as such. I believe that he does not deserve to be chastised for such trivialities, but perhaps some people have different minds. Of course they do, of course.

Regardless, I believe we are all capable of making our own decisions on this matter.

It is a credit to your character, to be so concerned for the well-being of others.

I like the question regarding mealtime traditions.

The Bolvar family has Sunday dinner every week at Rancho Bolvaro, and invites over Bolvar's Sister™ and brother-in-law for the meal, followed by a Dungeons and Dragons game.

Sort of makes you sound like a pimp.

The Miffy family reconvenes at the parents' normally on Sunday for the family matron to come up with something new each time, sometimes good, sometimes bad. Lots of veggie experiments.

Me on my own, I don't cook enough, sadly. I do make my own soups, salads, pasta sauces and sometimes i'll just throw myself some marinated chicken in a pan with some greens. But normally I just make lovely sandwiches, and when i'm feeling very lazy (which is often after work these days), i'll order some pizza - basically the only real junk food i allow myself.

Lobster Bisque for lunch- bit grainy, am not personally sure that I like lobster, but was decent enough.

Mackerel and Gooseberry sauce for Dinner. Unfortunately wasn't really able to enjoy the two together, seeing as I made rather a mess of deboning the fish (to be fair, it's only the second time I've done it).
