Actually, it didn't. It just taught him how to overcome it. It was like an addiction, really. When the eclipse temporarily depowered everyone it was then that Sylar was without the Hunger. When his powers came back I'm pretty sure that the hunger was the reason he murdered Elle. He relapsed, essentially.

I was disappointed they killed Elle. I would have liked for her and Sylar to be a psychopath battle couple or something.

Hmm going back and reading the summary, he's just now able to control it but it's never cured.

Elle at least deserved to be on Season 4. I'm sure Kristen Bell had other work at the time though and that's probably the reason they killed her in Season 3.

Nobody else here watches "Fringe"? It's one of the most intriguing shows on TV. Here's the season 1 trailer: LINK

Here's a "lost" Lost scene shown at Comic-Con: LINK

Here's scenes from the new Beavis and Butt-head episode "Holy Cornholio": LINK

Here are some new shows premiering this fall that I am interested in:

Awake - About a detective who seems to be living in two different realities.

Grimm - Looks like a Supernatural-esque show involving true fairy tales.

Alcatraz - A new show by Lost/Fringe creator JJ Abrams. Prisoners vanish from Alcatraz and appear in 2011.

Wikipedia says he's worked on X-Men 2 and X-Men 3, Elektra, Inspector Gadget and wrote early drafts of the last two Hulk films, so I'm not sure what that says about his writing, I really liked the writing in X2 and the last Hulk movie.. X3 was a big turd of nonsense. So I don't know, it makes me think of David Goyer. He worked on both of Nolan's Batman films, and wrote the Blade films. I really liked the first Blade film but I hate Blade Trinity as passionately as I hate X3, and the JSA comics he wrote really didn't impress me.

But anyway, I think the show is worth checking out. It just started a few weeks ago. The character development has been interesting, but I am really not sure where the story is going.

I watched the first episode of Fringe and had no desire to watch anymore.

No matter what anyone says QI will forever be the greatest Comedy Panel Show ever created... Its just that good due to it always being funny and you always learn a few new things each episode. Ancient Aliens has always interested me.

I have both of their books: The Books of General Ignorance series. Love them.

I was amazed when I found out about the immortal jellyfish...

Footman

Currently Psych is my favorite show followed by Burn Notice.

Before it finished its last season Monk was my favorite with Psych behind it.

I also happen to like NCIS, Chuck, and The Closer is pretty good.

Has anyone been watching the new season of "The Deadliest Warrior"? In this season, they are finally comparing battlefield tactics and many other factors that contribute to the simulation results instead of only weapons. The latest episode featured Saddam Hussein against Pol Pot. I kinda like watching the pre-gun era match-ups better.

It seems like they are getting more and more serious with this show, but in a few weeks they have the first fictional battle with Vampire vs. Zombies

Not watching much TV nowadays.

Mostly it are reruns of Stargate SG-1/Atlantis and NCIS.

But I also really like the current season of Doctor Who. The Sherlock Mini Series was also very good and I'm looking forward for it continuation in Spring 2012.

I really liked Deadliest warrior also before the gun battles came to prominence. My wife and I used to watch it all the time, and she recently liked the Joan of Arc ep, but aside from that she's kind of lost interest. I don't know if I'll even bother watching the fictional ep...

Right now the only show I put time aside to watch is Suits. I always liked courtroom dramas, but Franklin & Bash comes off a little silly to me.

Since I keep seeing Carl Sagan's face underneath Omacron's name I thought I would mention that FOX and for some reason Seth MacFarlane are teaming up to produce a new "Cosmos" show hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson. I felt that Brian Cox's "Wonders of the Solar System/Universe" has been doing a good job of following in the footsteps, but I also really like Tyson so I can't wait to see it. I'm hoping it's not narrated by Stewie.

He Man 2002.
The He-Man remake was not bad. All the shows I grew up with are getting remakes now: I think the Thundercats remake is pretty good, but I don't care for the Voltron remake.

Shows I wish were still airing new episodes: X-Files (as long as Mulder came back), Firefly, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Tick (both cartoon and live action!)

Boston Legal was pretty much my favorite show on TV before it was cancelled.

I don't even watch TV anymore.

Just watch anime and whatever else I feel like on the computer.

Favorite shows?

Hmm.

I guess a few would be:

Clannad, Welcome to the NHK, Kimi ni Todoke, Seirei no Moribito, Lovely Complex, Angel Beats, etc. A lot of bro-tier shit, but hey, can't help it.

I mostly meant the old one back in '97, though that remake looks pretty interesting. I should give it a look.

I know you were. That show is a classic. I was just drooling over how fucking awesome the remake will be. (The first episode is supposed to come out January 2012.)

Well, it's supposed to cover the entire manga. I don't know how they intend to do that since the manga is still going strong, but eh.
