Wow another run from collapsing temple mission?

I want to care. I really do. But I can't. Damn it.

Not really spoilers:

So Samir was Narud. Took them long enough to say that. Things point to the writers not being sure if that was the case behind the scenes.

Also, "THE DARK GOD" is Amon's new title? The other two were not good enough?

Wasn't he also called "Truthbringer"?

Way better name than "The Dark God"

"The Dark God" Feels blunt and hamhanded and like... first grade writing or bad fanfiction.

EDIT:

Not sure how to feel about the Sentry's with what appear to be medic-beams, makes sense for the Protoss to have the capacity for the tech though and it's a definite quality of life improvement.

Red and black Tal'darim stuff looks pretty cool though.

Because nobody cares enough about it to keep it secret yet there's still enough residual fanbase to score youtube hits.

Why do they keep calling Amon Dark God? I thought he was a hybrid.

...this is so much better written than Heart or even Wings.

Not sure what's with the ashenvale music as the Protoss victory music, but oh well.

Like, wow, kerrigan was way more intimidating in this than she was in Heart.

IIRC it's the first full game written by James Waugh. Brian Kindregan was the writer for the last two. Both took their story direction from Metzen though.

Was does Waugh usually write?

I was never actually 100% sure what Waugh did at Blizzard, but we didn't interact as much since he had his own office. I think he was mostly an ideas guy like Metzen, but I think he did also work with the cinematics team on some scripts.

He actually wrote Genn's short story and parts of Curse of the Worgen I believe, he's a good writer imo.

Arent you an ideas guy too? Tell me you're not the reason heart of the storm is what it is. It's probably up there with cataclysm, vanilla D3 and warlords. <_<

As far as I understand, he basically fetched people their coffee and made sure things were spelled right.

If C Dev is relying on interns to make big story decisions I...

...well actually that'd explain a lot.

Ah, well I'm pretty happy with Waugh so far. Feels like he's more in touch with what the series is about rather than trying to elevate it and not really succeeding.

I haven't worked at Blizzard since August 2012. I'm a literary agent in New York. I didn't work on HotS, which was still "blizzard all-stars" while I was there.

HotS was all written when I was there. I did have a hand in Project Blackstone though, mostly by suggesting characters to be added to the storyline.

Ah, cool. I didn't know you were that involved in the writing process. Evidently.

Shadow Orb

So I can't help noticing that Amon seems to be ripping off a lot of my lines there at the end.
