Actually, the daily quest text explicitly says you're kidnapping the babies to ensure that the wolvar have a chance to live on. Of course, we could argue about the loss of wolvar culture and such with these actions.

Yes, but you never see any babies being raised, and some other details, implying to some that he is lying.

What is his motive? We massacre the adult wolvar. If he wanted them to die, they would have anyway due to exposure. The only sensible alternative theory is that they sacrifice Wolvar to some higher power, and that doesn't exactly pass the smell test.

Care to take a tally of how many quests where we "rescue" someone, keeping track of how many rescuees we see later under the care of the person who sent us to do the rescuing? Is it rampant behavior in Azeroth to send people to rescue others, just so you can murder them after the rescuers leave? Blizzard said they didn't intend to update Northrend for Cataclysm, anyway. The fact that they didn't phase babies in means little. Hell, millions of players have a wolvar pup following them around. Part of the chain to get him as a follower includes taking a pup from the orphanage back to his home at Snowfall Glade.

I mean, not to get too serious or anything. But it seems like a silly pointless conspiracy.

Pandaren.

Simple as that. Before I would have said Tauren or draenei, but given the draenei come from the eredar race and most of those that didn't follow in exile became the legions highest ranking demons, shows how there race was easily persuaded.
And Tauren of course overall a noble race, but have the grimtotem over there shoulder.

The worst the pandaren have are the slightly darker methods of the shado-pan.

Pandaren can join the horde therefore some of them support genocide. Doesn't seem very nice to me.

Only 1/7th of the Titans' elite are evil, so I'm going to go with them.

Zandalari Trolls, saving your race from extinction is good. All other races are Titan made anyway while the Trolls were the original sentinent species of the planet. So everyone else including the Titans is evil while the Trolls are good.
