Well, Cho'gall survived being killed by the Black Tooth Grin Clan (in the ToD novel) and by Med'an (in the comics), so he's got something going for him in terms of endurance.

I was ready to laugh at your game art joke... but now that I think about it, did Gul'dan ever drink in that scene in Rise of the Horde?

Remember though, that Frozen Throne depicted Gul'dan going into the Tomb of Sargeras with a band of Shaman. We shouldn't trust the art. But you already knew that.
