Because they know him as Dooku for so long.

I like his Lightsaber and Makashi style.

You mean like this?

You know, this reminds me of a parody of Star Wars that I was once writing which replaced Count Dooku with Count Basie.

His Makashi style is one thing I always liked about Dooku. Fits his elegant personna and is one of the few known jedi/sith to use it.

They use the name Dooku mostly to reference his famous role of Dracula.

No I mean Sith like Darth Malak, Sidious, Revan, Vader, etc. They tend to have certain similar characteristics when they go Sith like a bald head and very pale features. (And red eyes, among other things that signify darkness and "Sithiness".)

I will give credit that he does manage to survive for two movies, it's just I can't really take his name seriously especially the onetime I watched Venture Brothers and they made fun of it by having that one guy say "I have to go take a Count Dooku."

I guess he made a force mask for himself like Sidious, because he's really powerful on both sides of the force.

According to the novel until he was killed in EP III he was still stronger and much more experienced than Anakin, even though Anakins seems unstoppable when consumed by fury, Dooku was still able to draw him back by a simple taunt, he lost only because Sidious turned against him, telling Anakin to turn fury into weapon, so he lost the will to fight.

Will it cool to let Saruman use Makashi kind of style to fight and shoot force lightning or bats?

Not so much offended but a bit too risque for a SFW board I'm assuming. Shame, I really like the gif.

I like to slack off and read these forums at work, I support the hidden linkery and NSFW tags. It's not what WE find offensive its what the others around us might. Imagine your grandparents, parents, children, boss and underlings are all collectively looking over your shoulder when you post.

Chef, your signature is especially ironic considering that for the longest time I used to collect transformers.

A transformers fan, ey? So are you a die-hard G1 fan? What's your opinion on the recent Bayformers trilogy?

Beast Wars was cool up until the third season.

But it had a good idea - remove the humans from transformers.

Kicker was so annoying.

As for BM, I don't understand how come Megatron finally turned into Optimus Primal's ultra form?
