I personally don't think that that set really fits well with a tauren, the shield also has the same problem.

The Pala set looks awesome... on female blood elves... tauren not so much...

The limiting factors of armor class for transmogging makes Sunwalkers a sad bunch of cattle.

A lot of really nice Sunwalkery stuff is leather and mail. Add that to some PVP plate elements, and it's actually quite nice. Trying to work within plate designs that work for generic warriors, holy rollers and skulls!skulls!skulls! knights make them a tough nut to crack.

If you are able to- get http://www.wowhead.com/item=59474 as your weapon for the T11 warlock. I always saw it as a good match and with a little luck you could convince a group who doesn't need the staff to use it for RP. I wish I had a warlock myself just for that- I've seen it de'd a few times.

I've seen that staff DE'ed at least 5 times. Shouldn't be to hard to get. Personally, I just like octopuses, hence the tentacle staff I picked.

Sunwalker design so far. Considering using the Turtle Shell Shield and a simple mace but that's really no fun. Any suggestions for a Tauren Paladin's weaponry?

Shield + Mace preferably. Or Axe. My Paladins are Tanks before anything else.

My suggestion for mace would be this mace from Zul'Farrak, which is as taurenish as you get. Alternatively perhaps this one from Argent Tournament or this one from Anub.
As for shield, I would take this one from TOC as a proud member of the Horde it also fits pretty well.

If I had a sunwalker I would probably start by checking out gear that matches the color scheme of the sunwalker kodo.

My death knight. I ran many a Northrend dungeons/heroics for all the pieces.

IMO the Argent Skeleton Crusher is a perfect sunwalker weapon. Huge, yellow, simple design, and it looks a lot like a totem.

Yeah, I'm trying to do that right now, but they never released a belt that matches Ulduar25's Paladin T8. There's a lot of recolors, and a few that match the Ulduar10 version of the set, but no orange/purple/red belt.

And then the shoulders are off-theme, so I was trying to mix something different for them, but it was a crapshoot. I'll try later after breakfast.

Anyone have any clue the random enchantment "prefix" for the plate armor that Aponi and several Sunwalker trainers wear?

As far as I know, there is no such random enchantment armor... The only one aviable plate armor like that is the chest via the Plate of the Shaman King...

Besides that piece, I think there is none for players...

They really should add armors like that to some armor shop in the capital cities....
