Default Model modifications?

Noticed a lot of stuff they've added in the modelviewer to current models. Finally.

Pets now have swimming animations... ABOUT TIME. My old raptor doing a motionless glide through water was kind of pathetic, now pets swim.

Worgen can now point, kneel, talk, sheath weapons and lots of other neat stuff.
Priests of all races can now have hover animations, not just blood elves. Even races that don't have priests have levitate (hover) animations.

Well most models seem to have been highlighted blue at least, indicating update. However in most cases I'm not familiar enough with the model to even notice change. Anyway, looks like they're doing something.

Also, this has been like this awhile, but the Twin Emperors have had shoulder armour added to them. Or shoulder anatomy at least. They're less scrawny, now more mean and bulky.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure Doomguard never had talk animations either, same goes for salute animations on most of the demons.

Hmm, not sure about the rest of the demons, but I've seen Wrathguard saluting patrolling Terrorguards in Shadowmoon Valley pretty much since BC's release.

Funny how Blizz cites the difficulty of adding more animated emotes to player characters whenever asked about it, yet they have no problems doing that very thing with NPC's and screwing around with the Night Elf stealthed animations without even mentioning it in the patch notes.

The Worgen animations interest me the most. They have no reason right now to add those animations, so I am curious if we soon might see something that allows us to transform into Worgen. That is the only reason I can see them adding these animations, much like how they added such animations to all the other creatures that gained the transformation form treatment.

They even have weapon animations now, and the Worgen never used weapons.

Personally the day they add something that lets me look like the Worgan, the day I go crazy trying to get it.

P.S. The Worgan falling animation is awesome! RAWR hahaha.

It's interesting for the Lore Implications as well. The people of Pyrewood turn into Worgen at Night, might we be able to uncover their mystery, perhaps even the mystery behind the worgen altogether?

There is a book in Karazhan that transforms you into a Worgen. But yeah, maybe they are going to finally tie up Scythe of Elune? Or at least do *something* with the Worgen.

Ehem. The inhabitants of Pyrewood Village use weapons, and they use worgen models during night.

But they didn't use the weapons when they were the Worgan during the night. Nice try though =P

They do.

I remeber when they just stand, bows at hand, and arrows fly trough the air.

That would most likely be the reason for the addition of the aminations. There still might be hope for a revelation on the Worgen, maybe. Anyway, it at leasts brings up some interesting lore questions.

Why is there a book that can turn someone into a Worgen at Karazhan? Is it possible that Medivh was experimenting with Worgen at one time, or some mage he acquired a book from? Such would certainly led credence to the theory of their origin being magical in nature.

Drirlake, http://www.wowmodelviewer.org/ and I would only use that site. Apparently, there have been some recent scams with it on the WoW forums lately.
