Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon

"Kenzuki, the newly elected president of the Scrolls of Lore, has tapped into the dark powers of 1337, the god of the enemy. He underestimated the powers of the dark god and has... GONE INSANE!

You, hero, must go and slay him. But beware, his fortress of The Lore Discussion Forums are heavily guarded by his zealots, both newbies and oldies.

Only after the death of Kenzuki The Insane can we advance from out defense position here at General Forums and retake what belongs to us."

Rewards: One of Three Blue Items.

Don't speak unless spoken to, peon.

When they kill me my plans shall come to fruition, for when I fall my insanity shall spread to Nihilum who in turn shall go INSANE! Which will start a HUGE chain reaction of insanity, which shall allow me to *does an Evil the Cat impersonation* "Destrooooyyyy the Universsssse!"

Thus it shall go down in history that I was the one who destroyed the Universe!!!....only there won't be any historians....

You're right in every way. ;P
Who isn't insane. It's a tragically overused state of mind to get across the problem of the character being a hero and not deserving to be raped for loot.

Are there more "insane" characters than just outright, unapologetically "bad" people?

I think Arthas is one of those. He knows he screws you over, and you know what? He doesn't give a damn about it.

He was "insane" for a good bit before he began acting like that, though.

I can't wait for a Caverns of Time instance where we kill Anduin Lothar as Alliance players because he's "Gone INSANE!"

YOU SAID THE SECRET WORD!!!

"If Zul'jin were here, he would have destroyed the whole lot of them with a flick of his wrist - alas, Zul'jin has not yet returned and we are left to our own devices."
"The young races? The infants? Humans? Orcs? Dwarves? You expect to defeat the Hakkari? To destroy a GOD?
It shall NEVER happen. We are legion. We are united. Where are your heroes? Vol'jin sits in sanctuary at the side of the young Warchief, unaware. Zul'jin missing, probably dead."
Some main reasons I've got a problem with Zul'jin being an instance boss.

Vengeance for Zul'jin...

Zul'jin is referred to as a hero. -_-

Well, I dearly hope that in the very least he can keep his scarf.

Little known fact, having a scarf is a sign of leadership in forest troll society. There is a band of forest trolls in Day of the Dragon, and the leader is wearing a scarf too hehe. They are also not shown to be a "good" race like some would have you believe. I think Knaak wrote those forest trolls really well. Saying that it wasn't unheard of for a single orc to go missing.....dragged off into the night by forest trolls for dinner

I really can't understand why you're always so gungho to rehash this tired, tired, tired debate. You believe that the trolls are wired to be evil, that there's no such thing as a good troll, they should all be wiped out, blah blah blah. You've said it a million times, but not once managed to sell your point.

And honestly, you expect a passage from Knaak - the most mundane archaic traditionalist to take the helm of Warcraft to date - to convince us that you're right?

It also isn't unheard of for a single deer to go missing, dragged off into the night by humans for dinner.

Actually Neph, I've said several times I think the Darkspear, Revantusk, and even the Zandalar to be moving towards the good direction. And I've never said there was no such thing as a good troll. i've only said that the majority of trollkind has always been described as a vile and evil race by Blizzard's own sources. And I rather like flesh devouring, evil, lives in caves and bridges type trolls. It's a refreshing depart from "ZOMG everyone is grey in WoW!" Which is getting to be the biggest cliche of all.

Also, don't compare eating a deer to a person.

Private Fern: "How about this book I found with him, it's entitled 'How to cook orcs'?"
Lieutenant Gorg: *blows dust off the book's cover* "How to cook for orcs."

I already stopped. It was him who posted after you warned!

And to relate this post to the thread, I have never thought the Trolls to have been "good" in any way, but neither do I think the present alliance is good.

The alliance of WoW is just a big bullying party that goes and uses their armies and hired adventurers to deal with anyone who has looked at them in the wrong way.
