Pfft, you act as though if Kosak or Metzen ever posted on Scrolls of Lore they wouldn't be bombarded with demands to make particular changes.

If anyone that high on Blizzard's totem pole posted on Scrolls you would all get on your knees and open wide...and then make the ridiculous demands.

And I still don't get the hate on Kosak. He's not responsible for every single bad change, nor is he even the only one on the design team. The game is so complex one or two slight number adjustments can account for massive changes. The GDev team has to deal with a hell of a lot more than you think, I'd cut them a bit more slack.

Well done, thou hast achieved that which we all seeketh.
May your impact be great, sweeping and ill thought out!

PS.: Remember the deal: Jinyu, playable. The package is in the truck.

Woah, I'm gone for 4 days and this happens?
Congrats Omacron! I hope you'll still be able to post here, otherwise know that you'll be missed.

And congrats Timolas on your new rank!

Not to derail this, but Kosak is the idiot who put the massive amount of pop-culture references into the Alliance's content, and he posted that mocking Dev blog about faction favouritism.

There were massive amounts of pop culture references in WoW long before Kosak joined the team.

Mmm, true, but entire zones worth of Alliance content were not just one big pop culture reference like they are now.

No. Clearly, Alliance zones are the only ones with pop-culture references. Clearly.

I never said that. But from my experience playing both Horde and Alliance toons to 85, there is much more in the way of pop culture references in Alliance questing hubs then Horde ones. Un'goro is neutral(and shitty even post-Cata) for both factions.

Fojar has made Kosak into Girard's scapegoat.

It was shitty, but it was filled with old nintendo references, and it was filled with them long before Kosak came on the scene.

It feels awkward that Omacron is still here after we all said our goodbyes.

I don't exactly know when I'm supposed to step down yet. It may be when I officially start working on May 29th, it may be when I sign my contract sometime next week or any time in between.

Footman

I think the real question is if Omacron's going to get to 20,000 posts before he leaves.

I'm Commander Shepard and Mark Romaneck is one of my favourite posters on Scrolls of Lore.
