Meh, I like a certain amount of Clichés in my storylines.

I usually do, too, but her entire backstory is just... Too much.

Cliches are cliches for a reason. And though we all love Blizzard, they tend to use cliches in most of their work, and thats why it works oh-so-well.

Agreed, originality is a little abstract these days, i like her story, at least it´s diferent of every other Starcraft character.

Sometimes, the best stories have alot of cliches. Good vs evil, rescuing the damsel in distress, etc. And we the populace, eat it up.

It´s usually how Metzen does his stories but in a way, that´s enjoyable, especially because of his characters.
His most original story has to be Diablo, but not the most enjoyable because there aren´t almost no characters at all.

Got a feeling its alot like Oni from Bungie in a SC world.

Yupp but thats cuse its a " mac game ". Bungie is a goooo mac place and all their games before Halo were like " all macusers love them and think their the best " , but thats cuse were bitter and would like to get all the PC games. Myth , ONI and Marathon which were all good and original games could have sould much better though ...
