So, anyone busy next weekend? It would be awesome if we can hold the council in MSN in real time with everyone present.

---------------------------------------------------------- edit:

Short explanation of the nature of the Perinany Legion:

Quote:
Legend tells that a minor Troll nation near Gilneas threatened Dalaran's existence thousands of years ago, shortly after the founding of the wizard city. General Severus Perinany, who had been positioned to guard the western border of Strom, left his post and marched his ten thousand men to save Dalaran from the trolls.

Together with the magi, his soldiers destroyed the enemy nation utterly. The general lost his rank of nobility in his homeland and was exiled because he had disregarded the orders of the King, but his soldiers decided to stay with him out of loyalty. To reward him, the magocrats of Dalaran cast a spell that bound all the men of his legion, and all their sons and sons sons and so forth, to the Perinany bloodline. All members of the legion could only sire male children, and all the sons would be born to fight along the general for the good of humanity.

The millennia passed and each legionnaire taught his son, or sons, all he knew about warfare, and each Perinany taught his son all he knew about tactics. The legion became legendary, as it rushed from one part of the world to the other, fighting the enemies of humankind without bowing to any one king.

WTH, Kerrah? Why are you ordering people to kill Thaumas? And, of course, I'm suppoed to not know about it and just walk straight into my death. No, I'm not playing that way.

The assassination attempt very probably won't succeed. I mean, all the leaders are going to be closely guarded for the entire time period I specified. And Javali will even be present most of that time, and he'll kill the assassin himself if he is given the chance.

The end is not to have Thaumas killed. It's to make everyone think the Lightists tried to assassinate him.

I'm sorry. It's nothing personal, really.

So we will got some mess, since the couatl riders are supposed to protect Thaumas and counterattack if there is an attempt to kill him. Ask Tim, I really ordered them so long before anyone come up with an idea of something like this. Now this is clairvoyance!

The flying blue thing riders are none of my concern, unless they can magically detect who paid for a hired hit.

I wonder how you'll manage to sneak an assassin into the place with tighest security in the whole Azeroth with some measly 4000 gold pieces.

And Xarthat, don't overreact. If he had made that decision through PMs, the result would be the same. This way, you just get the privilege of having it told to you through a story. Your character can't know, so the oucome will have to be the same.

P.S.: Don't boast about clairvoyance for what was such a common defensive tactic.

Xarthat he doesn't want to kill you intsead he wants to unite your people and his against the lightist. I mean its not an act of hostility.

Haha, if you didn’t want it to succeed you shouldn’t have hired Ravenholdt! I mean the Grand Master himself plans on being at Fenris! Xarthat’s character is already dead!

…or is he?

We’ll have to see how this pans out, though I think its pretty interesting. I have to thank you also for getting me and my faction more involved with the story.

I did find the 4k gold kind of a pittance, but I rationalized it by calculating Azeroth inflation. But still, your messenger got 800 just for delivering the hit request! What’s up with that?

I think its defiantly an act of hostility though, but on a personal and secretive level. If Xarthat’s characters knew about this, they would consider it open hostility. Of course, there is no way they could know! Its actually pretty crafty. If it goes down as planned, Kerrah would get everything he wants, including probably defacto control of Kul Tiras on a military level because he’s conniving the leadership into an alliance right before he has him killed! Good stuff.

Should I wait for Timolas to post the next update or can I reply to the offer?

The gold amounts are pretty weird, I admit. If 4k gold is little (You can practically hire an army with that amount in the RTS games. Let's not use WoW as a measure, please.), then it's because Javali doesn't care whether the assassin is a higher-class one or a guy with a dagger.

I think we should take the RPG as measure^^
4k gold is rather much money. A gryphon costs 5.500g, a nightsaber 600g, a heavy warhorse only 400g. A grand house is 5000g^^

One thing is certain - I (not Thaumas) might agree to that, but I'm not trusting Kerrah so much in this game since now on.

And Gurtroll is just trolling. It doesn't work on me.

Not trusting him in game, not in life. Like, I'd have nothing against a friendly chat or whatever, but I'm not trusting his in-game intentions. Bad trolling.

Except of course, this should have no effect whatsoever on your characters in-game reactions since there is, again, no way you could know about what went down. If you trusted him before, logically that should not have changed unless something overt happens.

And I didn't know commenting on an in-game situation that directly involves me was trolling now, but nice try.

You're just posting things to piss me off. That's trolling, unsuccesfull one.
And I don't believe you're that dumb to not understand what I said. I do not trust Kerrah in game, trust him in life, but Thaumas trusts Javali.

Anyways.

As it is now, we want to hold the conference in MSN, in real time.
IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST THIS, SPEAK NOW.

If possible, we'd have the meeting next weekend, some evening.

EVERYONE is required to say whether they are busy at that time.

I'm not busy.

See? It's that easy.

---------------------------

Also, any newcomers into the game might want to consider the possibility of rolling the Perinany Legion. They're basically a freeroaming army bent on ass-kicking and name-taking. Everyone knows that the upkeep of a land is boring. That's where the Legion comes in! You get all the action, none of the boring administrative work!

Hum I'll have to download MSN I suppose. That shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Also, I don't think I will be busy this weekend but depending on the as of yet unrevealed time and circumstances, I can't give 100% confirmation.
