And Xarthat, don't overreact. If he had made that decision through PMs, the result would be the same. This way, you just get the privilege of having it told to you through a story. Your character can't know, so the oucome will have to be the same.

I did find the 4k gold kind of a pittance, but I rationalized it by calculating Azeroth inflation. But still, your messenger got 800 just for delivering the hit request! What’s up with that?

I think its defiantly an act of hostility though, but on a personal and secretive level. If Xarthat’s characters knew about this, they would consider it open hostility. Of course, there is no way they could know! Its actually pretty crafty. If it goes down as planned, Kerrah would get everything he wants, including probably defacto control of Kul Tiras on a military level because he’s conniving the leadership into an alliance right before he has him killed! Good stuff.

Should I wait for Timolas to post the next update or can I reply to the offer?

The gold amounts are pretty weird, I admit. If 4k gold is little (You can practically hire an army with that amount in the RTS games. Let's not use WoW as a measure, please.), then it's because Javali doesn't care whether the assassin is a higher-class one or a guy with a dagger.

4k gold is rather much money. A gryphon costs 5.500g, a nightsaber 600g, a heavy warhorse only 400g. A grand house is 5000g^^

One thing is certain - I (not Thaumas) might agree to that, but I'm not trusting Kerrah so much in this game since now on.

Except of course, this should have no effect whatsoever on your characters in-game reactions since there is, again, no way you could know about what went down. If you trusted him before, logically that should not have changed unless something overt happens.

Also, any newcomers into the game might want to consider the possibility of rolling the Perinany Legion. They're basically a freeroaming army bent on ass-kicking and name-taking. Everyone knows that the upkeep of a land is boring. That's where the Legion comes in! You get all the action, none of the boring administrative work!
