I'm Calling MMO-Champion's Bluff.
I'm sure all of you have read the news by now.

Boubouille has been a great source of information for many years and I wish him no ill will, nor do I wish to vilify him. However, this "leak" is, as my senses tell me, bullshit. First of all, let's look at his source. A private post on Something Awful. The trolliest of troll sites, the creme de la creme of bullshit. Perhaps you've heard of the "Goon Squad"? That's there home base. All of the information posted in that thread seems very, VERY familiar. As in, it is all theories that have been posted by various, unrelated posters right here on SoL (and some crazy theories that go against the lore- Thrall as the next Guardian of Tirisfal? Someone's not reading the monthly WoW comic). Baine replacing Carin? Happened here. Thousand needles being flooded? Sounds kinda RobLore (literally). Hell, I even remember some people theorizing the level cap will be 85 rather than 90, right here. I am not claiming credit for these ideas- in fact, SO many sound familiar I would appreciate very much if you could actually CITE these for me (I shall start scouring our very forums to do the same). SoL has, very recently, come to the forefront of the Warcraft lore community, in no small part thanks to Handclaw and his discovery of both the new races and classes. For that, I am thankful. And I do not claim MMO-Champ "stole" these ideas from us- rather, the poster on Something Awful did, compiling a bunch of ideas he found on this very forum and presenting them as a "leak". Unfortunately, MMO-Champion, be it Boubouille or someone else, did not fact-check, and basically fell for some epic troll bait. It happens to the best of us- and this will be proven either right or wrong in a week, but I'd bet my money that this isn't a "blizzard leak", but someone who reads SoL. Who's with me? EDIT: Guys, guys, do not get angry. Do not flame, do not troll. I must state that I wish NO ILL WILL on MMO-Champion. All I am saying is that I believe their "source" is faulty, and I think we have enough proof here to prove them wrong. I do this not in an attempt to "upstage them", rather, to make sure that only the TRUTH is reported on. EDIT PART DEUX: Here's my first tidbit against MMO champ. THIS thread by sift is the originator of the "switch between human and worgen" ability that Boub's post talks about. I have not seen anyone else mention this ability and I am pretty sure that it originated from Sift's imagination. EDIT PART TREI: Source for the flooding of thousand needles and the bisecting of central Kalimdor courtesy of RobLore.

Who knows... They are feeding the masses with their information and if your not from their staff and try to correct things ( that won't get read because of the tons of comment and post ) you get permabanned, not banned one or two hours, permabanned...
THIS IS MADNESS LOL. I loved their news, I hate them now. They are above people apparently.

I tried to report the "truth" at least what we have as supposition here that seems the most plausible, I get banned.

To be fair, they never said the Something Awful post was confirmed. I still believe the other stuff they posted, but yeah, the SA part was pure bullshit.
And yes, I did notice it's very similar to stuff that has been posted here recently as well.

Just to clarify, we are talking about the SA information, right? Not the original information from the WoW: Cataclysm article posted earlier?
EDIT: The flooding of thousand needles was a part of Rob's Ellemay idea, maybe in the Cataclysm is not a wow expansion thread.

It really is something awful.
I can't wait for the hype to blow over. Really, I don't see any connections to Tauren paladins or Night Elf magi springing up because of a few new quests.

One of the few pieces of information put forth in that post I believe is the possibility of new classes being added to old reasons, for reasons I've discussed before. Other than that? Snowball's chance in hell.
