No wonder we haven't been able to find their home on Azeroth, we have been using the wrong spelling all this time.

It's clearly a mistake by Wildstorm or whoever announced the comic. Medievaldragon just informed us about that.

PS: Long time you didn't post .

Quick question: Isn't the plural of Pandaren just the same? Like; one Pandaren, many Pandaren? "Pandarens" just doesn't feel right to me.

Then again, I can be wrong.

I think it is pandaren for the plural form. They spell it as "panderan" so I guess one more mistake doesn't matter.

The plural of "tauren" is "tauren," so I assume they'd follow that.

Pandaren is actually derived from Chinese, with "panda" being a chinese word and "ren" being Chinese for "man". I'm not quite up to snuff on my Mandarin, but I'm pretty sure they treat pluralization similar to Japanese, hence, Pandaren is both a singular and plural noun.

That's actually kind of cool... thanks for the education.

I still think playable Pandaren would be cool... just give the Chinese a different race to substitute.

well, actually the animal panda in chinese is pronounced Mao-Xiong, which the direct translate will be Cat-Bear. I really dont know how or why english call this special animal "panda"

Adn you are right at the "ren" part.

Amazon and Barnes & Noble did list that, but I am not sure what to make out of the response I got from DC Comics. Is there a mystery? Probably. I will rather not quote anything, but my personal guess is that will see something coming next year probably in the flavor of the recent World of Warcraft: Ashbringer # 1-4 by Micky Neilson / Ludo Lullabi.

This one seems even better due to the subject.

Now I wonder if the inaccuracy was just the spelling, the part about it being called Pandarens, or the fact that those sites released the info before it was ready.

Sounds illogical, but it could be that the title or the subject are not meant to be what both stores suggested.

Things change drastically sometimes. Sometimes within a week or two apart. For example, didn't Marvel Comics talk a lot about World War Hulks recently? See at Newsarama. August 29.
http://www.newsarama.com/comics/0809...xpo-Hulks.html

You know the whole event with Banner, Red Hulk, She-Hulk, Savage She Hulk, Skaar Son of Hulk, etc. that was meant to be even more stunning than last year's World War Hulk.

Out of nowhere Marvel changed the title of the event in December 2009 solicitations which went out on September 21. That doesn't happen very often. The title was changed somewhere between August 29 and September 21.
http://www.newsarama.com/comics/0909...citations.html

It's going to be known now as FALL OF THE HULKS
http://marvel.com/catalog/?id=13656

This is just an example of how editorial can change a title, or even the whole story. Probably Wildstorm editorial changed something, and it was too late. Amazon and B&N picked it up and posted the outdated stuff.

Maybe there won't be a pandaren or panderan at all, but a story about the Worgen. That kind of change happen too.

Someone leaked something unintentionally, eh, Wildstorm?

What did DC exactly answer you, anyway?

I'm just interested to see elaboration on that "inaccurate" part .

There was no elaboration on the "inaccurate" part. Just that whatever it is, I will get coverage and previews when the time comes.

That image really doesn't refute either of those claims.
