News on the yet unannounced game?
This is my last thread of the night I swear! All of you guys are probably getting sick of my ranting as I see most threads from the last couple days have my name on them. That says to me it's time to go to bed soon.
 Just thought I'd get this thread going as I'm chopping at the bit to hear some new info on the new MMO in the works and hopefully any day now we'll get some info coming our way. I'd settle even for a name announcement. We all know Cataclysm is coming first and we don't to steal Blizzard's thunder but I for one cannot wait for a bit of teasing as to what the new IP is going to be. I mean they have Tigole working on it so must must be pretty good or at least passable of Blizzard standards. Anyone got any word on this? Also sorry about the title in this thread. I'm looking at it now and seeing how it could be misleading. It's just kind of hard to make a workable thread name when we have no mention of the new game that I can find myself. Just want to say right now that I have NO info on the subject, this is NOT a leak or anything of the sort. Just looking for discussion on the topic. Well time to see to my studies and some well deserved sleep. Lob out.

Couldn't agree more. Somewhere in these 50 random rants I've posted in the last few days there's one about this NOT being Wrold of Starcraft, Diablo, or any older Blizz franchises. We want something fresh and a new storyline please.

God damn but I am mad they never made Arcanum 2: Journey to the Center of Arcanum.

They've already announced that it's a new IP. That means it won't be one of their old IPs. Not Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Lost Vikings, Rock & Roll Racing, or Blackthorne.
Warcraft is already plenty steampunk, I don't think Blizzard needs a whole new IP to have clockwork robots and blimps, that's covered. They don't need another fantasy setting game, and if they were going to do sci-fi, I'm sure they'd use the Starcraft setting. My personal hope is cyberpunk, a genre that's largely unaccounted for in the MMO-sphere. Maybe something along the lines of Shadowrun or CthulhuTech, fusing magic and high technology in a post-apocalyptic setting.
